No one that hasn't come back under an alias.

I have one on a longshot fight lol (My guess is that it won't even happen)...but if I lose, rest assured, I will leave.

It's a great bet. Donaire has at most a 3% chance of winning, so that means PacDBest has at least 97% chance of leaving. He's not as bad as idiots like johnco, but seeing one less dellusional Pac fan on here will be nice.

This is not a close, risky fight. Even Navarro had a harder style for Mijares.. Donaire will get destroyed.

    Donaire is better than that....

Besides that, Donaire is getting better each fight.

I think ANY bet made with limited knowledge of the other fighter is dangerous. And unless I am mistaken, Amsterdam has seen precious little of Donaire.

PacD, of course, has seen alot of him, but very little of Mijares. He is in the same boat.

Exactly, I have watched plenty of Donaire and people are under the assumption that he's some kind of P4P phenom in the lower weight divisions, he's very flawed and can be controlled by a jab first and foremost. Who has the best jab below 118?

Cristian Mijares, it is a constant and stinging jab. Everytime anyone has put a stiff jab in Donaire's face, he resets, well, this time we have someone quick and skilled enough to follow it up with beautiful counters.

Donaire like's to potshot, therefore workrate is his enemy, Cristian brings that also.

In terms of speed, Donaire is a slight bit quicker, but Mijares has the superior defence and the best timing around those divisions.

Donaire's only chance is a freak knockout, but with Cristian's chin, that's very unlikely, he won't be winning a decision against a vastly superior boxer and will likely get stopped himself on accumulation, he's the type of guy I could see freezing and not knowing what to do.

Then enlighten me Amsterdam. Where have you seen plenty of Donaire? Because I have not seen much of him, and he hasn't been on TV almost at all.

You are mistaken sir, when I think a fighter is getting overrated, I check out as much of them as I can so I can pick out every little flawed detail about them and know exactly who's going to be best to exploit that for betting purposes.:yep

There isn't a ton on there that I can find. Certainly not enough to make a lifetime bet.

I think you're relying greatly on your skills to determine how good a fighter is. And you think highly of this ability so if you make a mistake, it will be a big one.

    But by all means, enjoy.

There was several months back. Pre-Darchinyan, there was about 5 fights also that even came before his single loss on youtube.

Now since Capfunds wants to single me out here, let's note that he believes the likes Margarito, Berto & Kelly Pavlik are examples of the top, top echelon of the sport. It's really no surprise he jumped on the Donaire bandwagon and is contuining to ignore superior fighters.

His two best comparisons was that Margarito is 'this generations Marvin Hagler' and that Pavlik was similiar to Thomas Hearns.

I don't think he's in the same boat. Amsterdam has watched enough Donaire to make a very educated guess about how the matchup would go, while PacDBest is just a blind nuthugger who would choose Donaire over anybody.

Personally, I've seen 5+ fights of both fighters and can't see any way Donaire would win. Mijares is beatable, but only to a very specific type of fighter/style and Donaire is the opposite of that style. If the fight happens, PacDBest said he's actually going to be betting real money on it with me. We live in neighboring cities, so it'll be easy to do.
