What was it you said "Don't make a big deal when Cotto beats Margarito cause it's so easy to see and Margarito is just a journeyman anyway"

You have to be the worst boxing forum poster I've ever encountered.

He won't, he's picked a series of fights wrong and yet seems to think everyone else is an idiot or a ******, despite his incoherent love of Mijares/Guzman/Calzaghe.

Everyone already knows Amsterdam is awful at fight picking, and has no clue when it comes to stylistic match ups . He once said he watched tape of Firat Artisan and claimed Darnell Wilson would easily beat him. The outcome of that fight was on the exact opposite side of his prediction Wilson got shut out.

Guys, you aren't to match my overall prediction record, end of story. Everyone gets them wrong sometimes.

But, Amsterdam's going to go get drunk, will be back to talk about the fight in the week.:good

You've got to be kidding me. Although, I set myself up for this due to the boldest of predictions, as always.

He's actually not a bad picker but when it comes to someone he doesn't like he will really lay into them with criticism instead of keeping it objective.
Surprised though that he actually put his own money on the line.
I guess he really believed Cotto would stop Margo in 5 rounds like he has often mentioned.

Most that liked both Cotto and Margarito knew this was a 50/50 fight. Cotto basically ran out of gas from running around all night and was hurt several times which takes away your stamina. Boxing and countering Margo only looks easy on paper.

Like I always said. I was hoping for Cotto to win based on his better boxing. But I wasn't suprised the stronger man won. I honestly think Cotto got too comfortable and thought he was unbeatable while Tony learned from his losses. Cotto has to trainharder if he wants to come back. Lets see. Meanwhile if there is any Mexican in Naples, Florida. Let's gp have some beers!!!!! Margarito and Cotto are gonna have some beers too.
