Assuming Broner employs the same fight tactics moving forward, which I doubt because he's a spectacular fighter, no floyd mayweather but an unbelievable fighter, he has a lot to worry about in the welterweight division, and he will need several confidence builders before going in there with the absolute elite at ww again. Think about it, robert garcia, through his animal warrior, chino maidana, showed the boxing world how to beat adrien broner. simply do not give him time to think or get a rhythm. from the first second of the first round and all throughout the fight, get after him relentlessly, hitting him as often and wherever you can. unfortunately for broner, there are multiple fighters at ww who can employ that devastating style. I mean, you name them, pacquiao, bradley, porter, guerrero, thurman, even guys like brandon rios and soto karass. they can all employ an unrelenting style against broner. I'd like to see adrien broner come back strongly because he is a fighter. he could have given up several times during that fight, and for that I respect and applaud him considerably, but it looks like there's blood in the water for him at welterweight, which, in a way, makes a resounding comeback all the more noteworthy. thoughts?
There is also a murder's row for him at 140. Garcia, Matthysse and Provodnikov all send him too the hospital. Even 135, if he can still make it, by the next time he fights Shafikov and Crawford will likely be belt holders who probably school him. I wouldn't favour him over Gamboa either. He needs to retire.
:rofl:good I disagree, but that's still pretty funny. you may be right about the guys at 140. I do think weight may play a role in him performing better against the guys at 140 though, but am I sure about that? nah. 135 he can never make again, and he shouldn't try.
Unfortunately for Broner, if he moves down to LWW there will be an even more dangerous murderer's row awaiting him there: Garcia, Matthysse and Provodnikov hit harder than the guys at WW.
Its safe to say Broner is in a tough spot now as all of his hype has gone in brutal fashion, if its not a Maidana rematch to gain redemption i feel he will fight a light puncher next time out.
The divisions of 140- 147 are simply to good for Broner ATM Across the two divisions look who beats him, Maidana, Garcia, Provodnikov, Matthysse, Bradley, Mayweather, Pacuqiao, Thurman, my tip for Broner's next fight is Rios or possibly Paulie Rematch
His prime is over. However, it's crazy to walk away.. Broner mentality is all about the paper, so he will do as business dictates...possibly win one, then lose 2, then repeat and walk away with good $ Rapping and Pimping doesn't pay anywhere as boxing, so expect him to stay in till he is way past it
some of you guys' opinions are just too drastic. none of us have any reason, literally no reasons, to completely rule out the possibility of him learning from being humbled and coming back with a vengeance.
. I like his girl...not sure if she was his main girl...or if she was there for the $, was back then not sure if she is still in her prime though...as those hoes have the same prime lifespan as Haymon fighters I think he lost street cred even amongst hoes with no Internet access. He got beat up by a short chino...A & B class hoes don't go for that :nono Pimping definitely not a viable option Rapping also on the same level as Danny Garcia and Max Kellerman so not a way to make a living...for Broner Haymon & a pair of 10oz gloves are the only way to go for Broner :boxer
Nope. Broner has fast hands and is durable. Did you see Khan struggle with Julio Diaz? Did you see Khan struggle with a lesser version of Broner in Peterson?
People sh*tting on Broner, the guy's not all hype. Overhyped yes, but he's still a legit talent. I hate his guts and was very pleased to see him beat down and exposed as dirty cowardly f*ck, but he'll still beat a lot of guys out there like Garcia, Guerrero, Alexander, and what not. People acting with a knee jerk reaction as usual. Adrian took a beating and still came back hard at the end. I'll favor him over Madania in the rematch. I expect him to come in with a legit game plan and show some focus.
