    Very enjoyable M. Dempsey weighed 187 but I'm nit picking ,a terrific read,In a scene from "The Harder They Fall "Shulberg ,describes Dempsey as "crazy with viciousness,going after Willard like a half starved Timber Wolf attacking a steer".You brought it back to me, good stuff!
    PS Dempsey is my no 3!

    I think there is a lot to admire about Jack, but outside of the Willard fight I find more disagreeable than a greeable. Nope, not joking, i'm probably harder on Dempsey than any other poster on the forum. Apart from the ones who think old school fighters are bums etc.

    A nice read. Good tempo to your writing.

    Dempsey actually weighed just 180lbs for Willard, as he said himself: "187 sounded better".
