Amir has been matched up with favorable opponents ever since his loss to Prescott. He is lucky there aren't that many heavy hitters at 140 lbs. Marcos Maidana, however, is a puncher's puncher. He is the best puncher of this era next to only Edwin Valero. He has KO's with both hands. KO's to the body. KO's to the head. Accumulation TKO's. KO's where his opponent just straight up fainted or quit from the damage. He is at the point where he doesn't need a well-placed shot as he throws with so much power. He can land anywhere and it will have an effect. Kind of reminds me of a young George Foreman. Little finesse. Not the best defense. 2 left feet. But relentless pressure with God given power. Was Ken Norton more skilled than George? Ya....He beat Ali twice(he was robbed the 2nd time).. what happened when he faced big george?? Chin is the most important thing in a fight against a power puncher. Even Mayweather got caught against a mumified Mosley with no PED's. Mayweather has a tremendous chin. Amir doesn't. Period. Let's not forget Mosley only had 2 rounds in him. Against Maidana, he will throw for 12 rounds, Marcos will find that face more than once. Amir won't be able to take it.
