I feel bad this had to happen.

The only good thing that can come from this is that the possibility for an undisputed WW champ is closer than ever now. If and when Cotto beats Jennings, there wont be a bigger fight at WW other than a rematch with Mosley later this year.

I say this because Arum made sure that no matter what happened in the Marg/Mosley fight, he would have had Cotto fight Marg again. At least now the right fight can be made.

I understand what you are saying but thats not the point now, if he cheated in previous fights he could really have hurt someone and I can't support someone with those intentions, then again that is just speculation right now hopefully he will be innocent in that count but his career is damaged.

 

if you just beat Cotto in your last fight without cheating why would suddenly decide to cheat for an aging Mosley

 

Obviously that's a logical question, but how are they going to prove it? if they find evidence against margarito in that fight then it would make sense, if they don't people are going to say is a fact regardless, so what is the point in arguing?

 

Anyone know if its true that Cintron and Cotto are persuing legal action against Margarito?

Its in the later rounds that you start to feel the brick punch after the sweat begins to harden the substance.

Cintron said that Margie isn't a devasting puncher, because he was comparing him to himself who is a much harder puncher.
Thats why Cintron was confused as to why the gloves were hurting more in the later rounds.

 

Well i'm pretty sure they will if they know about evidence that will support their legal action otherwise they can just push for an investigation, which they are doing right now right?

Yep, this is a horrendous thing that Margarito has done. The most terrible of sins.

 

I could be wrong, but I was under the impression that ones it hardens it's pretty much hard indefinitely. So if the wraps had been previously used, it wouldn't require sweat to hardened, therefore the punches would be potent since the first round.

Whatever the case, he cheated and I'm greatly dissapointed. It makes it even worst that I actually spend some hard earned cash to go see the Marg/Mosley fight , and now is tainted because of this incident.

 

People cheat all the time, the difference between what those that you listed did and what Margo did is not the same...In fact as of late last week the State of Cal was still debating if they would charge Margo with a crime, they were waiting for the outcome of the hearing today...I would be shocked if they did, but there is a chance that they would.
