Loma is not the same. Loma is levels under Usyk.

Regarding Usyk, he fakes low blows. Apart from that.... ok.

    Yeah, he has some sportsmanship.
The sport is generally full of scumbags.
So when somebody just does what you're supposed to do, it's considered strange.

    Some other 'ATG' mentions:
    Holyfield: headbutts
Tyson: wrenching elbow joints, eating ears

Not this again. The vast majority of fighters and coaches agree that it was a low blow, and body punches result in different physiological signs. To me, Dubois' reaction was the most telling. He didn't even argue, even though he supposedly just became the unified HW champion. He knew what he was doing was against the rules. There was a video where you could see Dubois throwing some 20 low blows. The narrative is that Usyk always complains about even legal body shots, while in reality, based on that video alone, Dubois was lucky he wasn't given any penalties or even DQ'd for repeated low blows. I've never seen any objective analysts or boxing fans saying Usyk fakes body shots. There is always a hidden agenda – a disgruntled Joshua or Fury fan, or a dislike for Ukrainians or what have you.

Watch the fight without Fury fanboys glasses, but you can't get them off, can't you?

Send video of the low blows
    Thank you

I did see Fury hurting him to the body a few times, also rattled him with an uppercut

I'm glad the rematch is set, as I enjoyed the fight

The irony, why don't you take the glasses of hate off and watch the fight?

Who is Joshua fighting next? Whyte?? Lol

Absolutely. It's normalized, expected and referees often just don't enforce the rules, fight concludes, end of.

For instance, Lewis dispatched of Grant with mostly blatant, hard rabbit shots. Doesn't even try to hide it from the ref because he doesn't even warn him, fight's waved off, end of story, pretty much nobody mentions it again.

    Disgraceful.

It's been discussed at length, over the years. Being a classy guy with a fun personality who also happens to possess elite footwork and educated hands while being a bona fide giantkiller are the aspects of him that grew such a loyal international fanbase (starting even before the pros).

I don't trust Usyk haters; they fail the vibe check.

Fights clean but I don't like his reactions to body punches because he complains about them being low sometimes.

I'd say that's a very reasonable reaction for those us who have penises.

Maybe, but it's not widely talked about at all, even in the boxing community, can't recall it mentioned even once, being a "medium intensity" follower of the sport.

Dude, make an effort and kindly read the thread before posting. You're like the fifth one to say it, others keep asking for examples for debate, and you all just shut up. Doesn't look legit at all.

Like I said, let the haters and detractors compare Usyk to their favs and hold them to the same standard they do him in their efforts to find some criticism or flaw in the way he conducts himself or goes about his business in the ring, no matter how inconsequential it is, to justify their hate to themselves and he's almost saintly. He really gives them so little ammunition to fire at him, either in or out of the ring, so they have to invent things out of thin air or cling to the minor quibbles.

Whilst this is admittedly an extreme example, he's literally the complete antithesis of someone like the beloved Andre Ward both in and out of the ring and at the negotiating table and I mean in a good way.

Filthy dirty deck-stacking have gloves won't travel or sign on the dotted line serial cheat Ward would never dare do once, and history confirms it resoundingly, what Usyk does religiously at the drop of a hat and obviously he was also incredibly dirty. However, look at the way he reacted who getting a little taste of his own medicine.

''I'm glad that I can win ugly sometimes (ROFL), because at the end of the day it's just about winning, right?

''I'm just saying, man, every cut I got is a headbutt or an elbow. Every single one.

''But that's why there's a third man in the ring (ROFL)''

''All these are either blatant headbutts or elbows, literally blatant. Not one of these was from a punch''

"We expected this kind of fight with Bika," Ward said. "Every laceration I have was literally [from] a headbutt or an elbow. I clearly remember each one of them. That's what you get when you fight a guy like Sakio."

---Andre Ward after the Bika fight

''At the end of the day, boxing is already a tough enough business to not have to put up with illegal blows.

''I don't mind the occasional foul if it's an accident but the intentional stuff I just can't put up with it''

    --Andre Ward

Like I said, Usyk is almost saintly when you compare him to literally almost any other fighter in history and when you hold them to the same standard the haters hold him to.

We can start by holding Belly to that same standard if you like? That will end well
