To stop once and for all the rehydrating bull****, just weigh the fighters before they depart for the ring; it will be their division weight.

If someone wants to enter the ring dehydrated, fair play to him. He's getting beat.

Everybody's the winner: the public gets a better fight and the boxers lessen the chances of brain injury through dehydration.

Not to mention the risk associated with shady drugs destined to make you lose weight.

No, because if someone doesn't make weight and the fight is cancelled, well it's too close.

Most of the best non-HWs rehydrate 10+ lbs. Some of the elites as much as 20. Canelo, Ward, Beterbiev, Walters, Crawford, etcetera.

How would Beterbiev do against Potvetkin????

    Ward against Ledbedev?
    Crawford against prime Pac.
    Walters against Mathyssee???

    See the pattern.

Potentially dehydrated fighters that fade after 1 round?

Called off fights due to failing to make weight in front of fans who have already travelled to the event?

You'd also get more dead fighters. It's the worst idea.

Since when does Ward put on 20 pounds? He looked the same as he did vs Dawson and he was 176 back then. He does not look like he had put on 15+ pounds.
