To be fair, most of the Wolverhampton natives probably couldn't tell the difference. [ame]http://www.amazon.co.uk/Tyson-Unleashed-DVD/dp/B0042FOMB2[/ame] It was the Peterborough show.
Thats mad, a cardboard cut out?? He did an evening in Aberdeen and my pals said it wasn't bad at all.
The whole after-dinner circuit has been done to death and can be pretty depressing, although admittedly it's a good way for ex-fighters to make money.
I met Tyson twice and the first time was a few years ago in Essex where he done a similar thing, I went with my brother in law and the tickets were £110 - This included 1 hour session of tyson talking about his life and Cus. after that we had a champagne reception to mingle in with all other fans, and then after that we had our photo with him where he shook my hand and put his arm round my shoulder, you could literally speak to him for 20 seconds so they did not give you long. After this i had a 3 course meal and its only VIP holders that get to eat dinner with MIKE TYSON. its like a massive square table where you all sit at and Tyson is at the top. he done a speech etc, I also had a photo with tysons little girl and his mother in law then there was an auction it was quality and well worth the cash! This **** always seems a bit cringey to me. A boxer who probably doesnt want to be there telling the same stories night after night to boxing fans who keep asking him the same questions.
