    I'm not even British but this sounded like horse ****:
    So you're telling me 25,000 Brits went to Vegas for the fight but the average Brit outside Manchester has no idea who Ricky Hatton is? I highly doubt that.

    I'm not British or anything, but come on! You're telling me Ricky can walk around London or Liverpool unrecognized...?

    Yeah that's crap. Hatton is a mainstream star and very well known. The Mayweather fight was on PPV and sold 1.4 million at 4am and all those people didn't live in Manchester. That's a terrible example.

    Most people wouldn't give a **** if they saw him. He might get a lot of second glances but I reckon he still gets ignored most of the time.

    When Wladimir Klitschko was spotted with Haiden Panettiere at a club recently most people thought he was a Wrestler and didn't know his name. For shame.

    Thats article is BS. In Britain Naseem Hamed, Ricky Hatton and Amir Khan are 3 examples of stars being built on subscription based TV. Network tv isnt a must to make stars.
