A lot of nice stuff has surfaced in the past few months in the fight film world. Highlights include:

Carnera-Zupan, this is one of Carnera's last fights:
https://flic.kr/p/SLDGBj

Melio Bettina-McElliogot, this is one of former light heavyweight champion Melio Bettina's 1934 Golden Gloves bout with Peter McElliogott:
https://flic.kr/p/SAuYrE

Jack Dempsey and Billy Miske training for their championship bout in 1920. This film was shot the same day that Dempsey sparred with Greb. Sadly the man he is seen sparring with here is West Coast middleweight Marty Farrell:

https://flic.kr/p/SLDGHS
https://flic.kr/p/SLDGMj

Zora Folley as an amateur winning the all forces tournament:
https://flic.kr/p/SLDGNb

Mickey Walker-Dave Shade 2:
https://flic.kr/p/RAhfug

Georges Carpentier-Jim Sullivan, this is the earliest film footage of a Carpentier bout that I have been able to confirm. He was just 18 years old winning the European Middleweight Championship on a two round knockout:
https://flic.kr/p/SAuYFC

Marvin Hagler interviewed after his bout with Bennie Briscoe:
https://flic.kr/p/SLDGUU

16mm footage of his bout with Briscoe:
https://flic.kr/p/SLDGVW

Vinnie Curto apologizing to everyone for ducking Hagler:
https://flic.kr/p/RAhfHx

Alternative footage of Hagler-Ford from the version commonly available:
https://flic.kr/p/RAhfLt

Hagler interviewed after his bout with Lamont Lovelady:
https://flic.kr/p/SAuYN1

Hagler-Owens 2:
https://flic.kr/p/SLDH1q

An interview with Hagler after the Wigfall fight:
https://flic.kr/p/SAuYRY

Kid McCoy flying home after being released from prison for murder:
https://flic.kr/p/SQexZT

Harry Greb training, taken about a year prior to the common footage of Greb:
https://flic.kr/p/SAuYSE
https://flic.kr/p/SLDH5d

Carpentier-Grundhoven, this film is fairly common but not in this quality or as long:
https://flic.kr/p/SAuYXE

Carpentier and Papke posing before their fight:
https://flic.kr/p/SAuZ1W
https://flic.kr/p/SLDH7Y

Thil-Seelig:
https://flic.kr/p/SCX3GD

Loughran-Lenglet:
https://flic.kr/p/SCX3Kp

Full silent film starring Benny Leonard titled "Flying Fists" from 1924:
https://flic.kr/p/SCX3MP

Criqui-Ledoux, again, common but not in this quality or length:
https://flic.kr/p/SCX3Pn

Johnny Coulon training for one of his last fights:

Wow. Steve, was this several sources or primarily one that had these?

And is there anything extra to glean from the Greb footage that you think is relevant?

Holy smokes this is awesome.
This is stuff you've procured? If so, great work.

The last still from the Dempsey portion is a close up clip of Dempsey shadow boxing.
I believe it's viewable at Getty.

That Carpentier still looks like incredibly good quality. How does he look in that fight??

Grebs physique in that first still looks really athletic. I'm pretty sure I've seen this clip online too if I'm not mistaken.

Many different sources.

Not really. Its short and doesnt add much beyond getting to see him move and interact which is nice.

Its all stuff I acquired. The Carpentier film was a nitrate film that I paid to have converted to HD digital to preserve it. Carpentier never looks great to me. He is more awkward in this film than in others, particularly his hand placement and guard. His powerful right hand is in evidence. One that is apparent to me in all of the films and photos of young Carpentier is that he was a physical freak akin to Tyson in that he developed physically into manhood at a very young age hence why he was so successful against all those grown men. Sullivan wasnt much though and his style was made to order and wide open for a right hand crazy puncher like Carpentier.

Given the type and condition of the stuff you are still finding, what is your hope for finding some actual Greb fight footage?

Squires-Kling. This is the first boxing match ever filmed in Australia, 1906:

https://flic.kr/p/SQsDao
https://flic.kr/p/T5mR9K

Squires-Mike Williams, 1906:

https://flic.kr/p/T5mR2a
https://flic.kr/p/T5mQY4

Floyd Patterson-Vic Brown:
https://flic.kr/p/T5mQVD

Denny Moyer-Chirino:
https://flic.kr/p/T5mQTK
https://flic.kr/p/T5mQQi

Ron Lyle-Bates, one of Lyles first pro bouts and I believe his first televised bout:
https://flic.kr/p/T5mQN4
https://flic.kr/p/T5mQJX

Jerry Quarry-Tony Doyle:
https://flic.kr/p/T5mQEP
https://flic.kr/p/SurqUG
https://flic.kr/p/SurqR5
https://flic.kr/p/SQsBwU

Ernie Terrell- Davila:
https://flic.kr/p/SQsBJs
https://flic.kr/p/SQsBk1
https://flic.kr/p/SQsBbU
https://flic.kr/p/SQsB8C

Zora-Folley-Johnson service bout. This is a different amateur fight of Zora Folley's than the one I posted a while back:
https://flic.kr/p/RQmhmF
https://flic.kr/p/RQmhkt

Olson-Gavilan, complete, Id only ever seen highlights of this, it may have already been out there though:
https://flic.kr/p/T1Hccq
https://flic.kr/p/T1Hcam

Zivic-Cochrane 2. A lot of people have this listed in their collection but its always a slightly different version of Zivic-Angott. This is the actual Zivic-Cochrane 2 bout that a friend of mine dug up:
https://flic.kr/p/T1Hc75
https://flic.kr/p/T1Hc5w

This is the Zivic-Angott bout for comparison:
https://flic.kr/p/T6ve2G
https://flic.kr/p/RV8JLv

Battalino-Chocolate, this is pretty common but I dont think in this quality:
https://flic.kr/p/T1Hc3h
https://flic.kr/p/RQmh22

Zale-Cerdan, this is an old 8mm home movie that someone shot from the stands of the Zale-Cerdan fight:
https://flic.kr/p/RQmgY6
https://flic.kr/p/RQmgWH

Archie Moore-Howard King VI, home movie footage:
https://flic.kr/p/T6ve7G
https://flic.kr/p/T6ve4L
https://flic.kr/p/T6ve6E

Ray Robinson-Bob Young. This is the only footage I know of in which Robinson beats a light heavyweight:
https://flic.kr/p/T6ve8U
https://flic.kr/p/T6veb9

Criqui-Ledoux, this is an alternate version of the fight from the on I posted a while back:
https://flic.kr/p/T6vehm
https://flic.kr/p/T6vefC

Cerdan-Despeaux, home movie footage:

Its good for its age but both guys are pretty bad. I had always been curious to see Squires because he came over here so highly touted (largely off of these two fights) and then got blitzed by Burns. I thought maybe youd see some revelation or that Burns just caught him cold or something. Nope. He was just a really awkward looking guy who was fighting really inept fighters. The Australian papers even admitted that Williams was terrible and said the Kling contest was unsatisfactory (although they blamed it on an earlier rain storm that left the ring wet and slippery). I think what happened was that being these were the first two fight films shot in Australia they were novelty, got wide circulation, and got Squires an undue amount of attention as a result. I give him full credit for cashing in on it but its easy to see how he kept getting blown away after these fights.

Very good!

Regarding the Patterson, Quarry, Terrell and Lyle footage, I think it's awesome you can see the television on the outer edges of the film.

it's so great that someone back then had the presence of mind to think, "I have a film camera, and I'd like to watch these fights again, maybe I'll just record these matches off the TV screen tonight."

It's wonderful these are being preserved.

The guy who filmed those fights was apparently an interesting character. For about 20 years starting in the 50s he would set up his 8mm camera in front of the TV and film fights off it. In this way he was able to preserve footage of fights that we have no other source of.
