I never saw Greb vs Allentown, I merely reported that others, including historians, have! Let's get the record right on that. Also, you once said your not even sure if you could recognize Greb on film before! Presumably, anyone in the know could if there was a facial close up.

McCoy being released from prison has been out there for years and isn't even considered rare. One can buy this footage for less than $20.00

Although you have a pretty big fight collection, there is likely 100's of films you are unaware exist. So continue to be a naysayer if it suits you.

Had I said I have McCoy being released from prison years ago, I'm pretty sure you call b()ll S&^t . You have it under " missing films " until recently.

The best McCoy clip is him shadow boxing with Corbett. Corbett flashes tremendous reflexes for his age. That one is pretty common and far more interesting.

Personally, I think your hunting for many missing fights that were filmed and would not comment on where they are ( public domain or private ) as you want it for yourself.

When it comes to boxing films, I tend to view it as art. Let there be showings. And one day there will be as very few people are willing to pay 5 figures for any film and those who do are older, and will likely will it away in a few decades.

Thats why you spent pages and pages of posts defending that claim to the point of lying about what other people said about it.
Again, did I ever say anything to the contrary? As you can see I posted several films that have been publicly available for one reason or another.
Despite your constant posturing otherwise you have no idea whats in my collection beyond what Ive specifically told the public. With that being said I never gave the impression that I have every film available or ever released. Hence the point of this thread about new discoveries. Not only is it possible but very likely that 100s of films exist that I dont have hope to acquire. 1000s exist that I couldnt care less about. That however should not distract from the fact that you have lied numerous times in relation to films and have been caught and called out on it.
Why, beyond the fact that you are a known, proven liar would I doubt or question that this film, which has very little importance historically or otherwise beyond its curiosity factor, existed? As for saying I claimed this film was lost, well, thats another lie. Anyone can check the list I posted publicly here and on boxrec that you refer to see this film isnt there. If you allege that I said it somewhere else post a link or stfu. Another sad pointless lie.

Gee Sherlock, what tipped you off?

Great, since you are such a patron of the arts when can expect you to start funding my searches and exhibitions with your hard earned money instead of mine? No? I didnt think so. Its pretty easy to spend imaginary money or someone elses for that matter. Not so much your own. I just spent $1,000 on gettting a bunch of films transferred. All told the actual films themselves cost me about another $1,000. Send me a check for $2,000 and as soon as it clears I'll post those films online for anyone to see and give you full credit for that virtual art exhibition. Youll excuse me if I dont hold my breath.

Considering how often fights aired on television, and how expensive film was, and the fact that he had to keep running out and getting it developed, it's amazing he did it and that they are still around.

Thanks for continuing to preserve all these.

Its wild how just a handful of people really kept much of the history of boxing alive on film. And they did it on their own.

No not really. Ive heard that claim but he fights a lot like a Mayweather or Toney. His shoulder roll isnt as pronounced as theirs but he fights with a low left, inviting leads for him to counter with right hands and using the jab economically to control distance and pace. I love Little but to be honest the Piaskowy fight was disappointing. It was kind of boring. It was a lot like a lot of bad Mayweather fights with him just hanging back, being very accurate but very inactive because. He piled up points and busted Piaskowy up good but he did it over 15 rounds of just laying back and countering. Little looked shot in the second Bossi fight and this being his last successful defense I was really curious to see if he looked better. He looks better but not much. You can tell hes an aging fighter. He was breathing hard in the later rounds despite doing just enough to win the rounds. Had Piaskowy been a little better he would have given this version of Little some real problems. This wasnt the Little of the Mazzinghi fight. In that fight he was a BAD man. He couldnt miss and busted Mazzinghis face up like a ripe tomato. He mixed up counterpunching and aggressive and that combined with his slick defense and incredible accuracy would have been a problem for anyone his size. The Little of Piaskowy was a fighter on the way out. Old and tired.

Great insight into your fight and comparison to other version's of Little available on film. Thanks for the breakdown. A lot of these found films clear up myths about fighters and help create a more accurate portrayal of said fighter's career. Thx

More coming but here are some new films I just got. Some interesting stuff here:

Foreman interview where he is asked why he isnt fighting anyone ranked:
https://flic.kr/p/223N27D
https://flic.kr/p/223N2ap
https://flic.kr/p/223N3gH

Foreman-Levi Forte:

https://flic.kr/p/Jte3VV
https://flic.kr/p/Jte3Tk

Foreman-Forte color:

https://flic.kr/p/223N4B8
https://flic.kr/p/DL7hHK

I had always wondered how Forte went the distance against Foreman but got blown out by Floyd Patterson. Well, Foreman was big, strong, and as hard hitting as ever but he was sloppy, wild, and his defense was non-existent. When Forte landed it was enough to freeze him for a split second and keep him honest.

Ali sparring Roy Tiger Williams sometime after Zaire:

https://flic.kr/p/DL7gMB
https://flic.kr/p/223N3Aa
https://flic.kr/p/223N3og

If this is the legendary sparring session where Williams supposedly punked out Ali and was demanding payment for Zaire then we can chalk that story up to be a total fabrication because Ali toyed with Williams here.

Billy Graham-Trigo 1951:

Awesome stuff, thank you for sharing!
The Foreman Forte footage looks incredible. The quality, the angles, etc.

It's too bad I will likely perish from this Earth before seeing any of it.
