I think it would have been very interesting about 4 or 5 years back for Mike Tyson to fight James Toney. What kind of fight do you think it would have been? Id say Tyson would have stopped him at some point but one thing is for sure is that there would have been a very entertaining build-up.
I don't know, I think Tyson would have wasted too much energy due to Toney's defense. By the time Tyson tires I think Koing Toney is out of the question. I think James may have been somewhat more reticent to throw punches than usual, so Tyson UD for me if he does not exhaust himself. Otherwise a late Toney TKO is not out of the question.
i mean also, who has toney fought with tysons power and abilities. I mean sam could hit but was noooooooo way tyson.
When people hear the name Tyson do their brains sometimes not kick into gear? 4 or 5 years ago leaves us with the Tyson just KOed twice in a row and the second time being by the Kevin McBride... Only one year earlier and Toney had just TKOed Evander Holyfield. I don't think this would have been such the mismatch that a couple of people seem to think.
