lol, some of you guys just need to sit down and watch Floyd fight for a change. He covers all bases, he's not gonna sit down and be "overwhelmed by Manny's speed" as the article would lead one to believe.

 

It's not a matter of Pacquiao getting tired. Mayweather's game has always been to adajust and adapt to his opoent early in the fight. Mayweather is also faster than Pacquiao. This will become aparent as the fight goes on.

 

Exactly Rooney. Floyd is going to be so fearful of those flying bombs that he is going to go into turtle mode like never before. the fight will be at Pac's pace and floyd has never had to deal with that, because he has avoided the pressure fighters who had the goods to apply relentless pressure.

if he would have fought Margarito and Cotto he'd be better prepared for the crazy intensity Pac will inflict on him. The easy fights with slow old faded handpicks is going to kill him on Marc 13. Turtleweather is going to be destroyed.

 

I only read the first 3 paragraphs. A pretty awful analysis if I'm honest with you. The writer seems to think this is the first time Floyd is stepping in to the ring.

:nono It doesn't matter how conditioned he is these are two highly conditioned athletes, if you keep missing it takes more energy than landing. that's all floyd need with his speed and accuracy to put pacman to sleep.

 

I pretty much agree with him. I think it'll be the workrate, the angles, the unorthodox southpaw style. I think it's the foil to Mayweather's style.
