You only think Corrales was one of his tougher competitors because you didn't realize how good Floyd was back then. Floyd has fought many tougher opponents than Chico but you don't give him credit for it because you now expect him to dominate every opponent regardless of size, strength, ability. Floyd raised the bar so high that every opponent he faces is now a cherrypick!

He was hated before he started the whole TBE thing.

That said, he has marketed himself as unbeatable, and when you do so, you have to be prepared for the naysayers to come a knocking. Especially when you give them ammunition in the form of choice of opponents.

Pac, even though he's past prime, would unquestionably be the best name on his resume. For me, that bumps him from Top 40 to Top 30. I don't think anyone from this era cracks Top 20, based on who's around. Floyd comes closest (I have him around Top 25), but he falls a little short of that distinction given some of the mitigating circumstances around a couple of his biggest wins.

Pacquiao should crack the top 25. Stopped Barrera. Defeated prime Marquez. Almost beat prime Morales. Stopped Cotto at 145. Stopped Hatton at 140. Stopped Ledwaba at 122. Stopped Sasukul at 112. Almost stopped Margarito at 150. Almost stopped Clottey at 147.

I agree with this. Duran is the last one to make the Top 10 - but that's because he managed his career like an old timer.

The post I made were many different points that all interlink, isolating the arguments are not going to help.
For example, lineal....but what about the strength of the era? Pretty weak to me, thus the strength of the lineal title is decreased. Also, what were the conditions of the fighters who had the lineal championships? Well looking at the original post, not what it looks like from the surface.

Nope. Floyd is Top 40 though.
Floyd doesn't have a marquee win.
Pacquiao was only a HOF level but not ATG level fighter in terms of ability when Floyd fought him, and IMO drew (in slow motion).

Why don't you compare Marquez from the Pac 4 and even the Bradley fight, to what he was like for the Mayweather fight. Fat and slow.
KTFO6 being emphasised just adds further weighting to Pacquiao being psychologically shot - thus reducing the power of Mayweather's 'victory' over Pacquiao evermore.
