Hopkins is cherry picking, yes? In much the same way as Dawson avoided his madatory against Diaconu in the vague hope of getting a bigger fight.

Which he more or less failed to do because no-one really gives a **** about him.

Dawson needs to do something to make Hopkins want to fight him. But really, considering it might be Hopkins last fight, maybe Dawson should stop beating up on men in their late 30s, early 40s and go for someone young and in their prime. Maybe a belt holder at 168 since he seems so terrified of an actual challenge at his own weight class?

Dawson needs to put up or shut up rather than ride the coat-tails of a guy who's proved a lot more than Dawson ever will.

Adamek is underrated because he is Polish and has rather boring European style. Having said that, he is as good a champion as one could reasonably expect and that is why I was surprised that Dawson gave him a boxing lesson. The reason that Hopkins is likely to beat him at cruiser (or any other weight) is the same reason that he had problems with Taylor but no problems with Pavlik. Taylor is fast, Pavlik isn't. Dawson is fast, Adamek isn't. Nevertheless, Hopkins will make you look bad no matter how fast you are, just ask Calzaghe!
