I disagree. Woods was awful, but Tarver was decent. I don't think the Jones that fought Calzaghe would have beaten Tarver.
Eubank(former WBO 160/168 champ way past it) Reid(former WBC 168 champ lost to 42 year old sugar boy malinga) Woodhall(former WBC 168 champ lost to Markus Beyer. was knocked out at 160 by Holmes 4 years before. this was woodhalls last fight) Brewer(former IBF champ lost title to Ottke and then lost rematch and then was stopped in 3 rounds by Echols then fougth Calzaghe) Mitchell(former 2 time WBA champ lost title to Bruno Girard and then again to Sven Ottke. was mitchells last fight until 4 years later when he made an ill fated comeback) Then you have the Evans Ashira's and Mario Veit's.
You can't buy class like this gentlemen. 1994-96 Jones destroys any version of Calzaghe, and anyone who isn't a biased moron knows it.
No, I saw the last part of your post and that tickled me. A lot of posters keep saying Prime RJJ beats Calzaghe, its desperate and makes you look stupid. h2h maybe.. for Jones, Toney I don't think so.
Nah. Lol you didn't even say why, Damn man, Your predictions are awfull when you don't even say why they win the fight, Nobody cares about your predictions dude.:hi:
Enjoy my friend: http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=92045&highlight=proper+breakdown+calzaghe
Well he did fight an undefeated european fighter to win his title and was signed to fight Stipe Drews in Germany until Drews pulled out. And I doubt Dawson would even waste his time fighting the ikes and Mario Veit a second time in Germany. Big deal. Fail.
If Pavlik has flaws, then I don't even know how to describe Dawson's shortcomings. I argue that Kessler is a better overall boxer than Dawson. Dawson was very nearly KOd by Glen Johnson on two or three occasions. Let it go guys, Joe has been a stylistic nightmare for every one of his opponents - even the cagey Hopkins. No way Dawson beats Joe Calzaghe and Joe knows it and he's got every right to hang em up and head to Canastota with an undefeated receord. I used to hate too, it's OK to be wrong about a fighter sometimes.
Thats not an "open letter to Joe Calzaghe", its just a trolling post on a boxing forum that happens to be written in the third person. Can you not see what will happen if Calzaghe beats Dawson? "Dawson was young, unproven, struggled against an old Johnson why won't Joe fight.........yadda, yadaa, yadda"
