You really think Mosley is above Oscar on an ATG list?

2 victories over DLH baby. Mosley made a career out of taking away title belts from your Golden Hero.

A case could certainly be made for Sugar, a good case.

Floyd's not finished yet, I don't think. At this point, he's behind Oscar.

As for Tito, it was never in the cards, neither h-to-h nor by accomplishment.

    Size isn't everything.

Charley Burley gave up nearly 9 pounds to the excellent Shorty Hogue, and won. Burley gave up nearly 70 pounds to J.D. Turner and won.

Ray Robinson gave up 15 lbs to Jake LaMotta and won.

Shane Mosley had only fought twice @ 147, compared to 10 times for DLH, and Mosley won.

Ahh, who am I kidding? This fight stinks.

But the fight still hasn't been signed yet, so there's some hope for more meaningful fights.

If DLH-Pacman fight pushes through and MP wins, it'll reverberate throughout the Fareast and hopefully nudge China to be more active in boxing. This will be more beneficial to the sport in the long run than what a Margo-DLH fight could bring.

DLH only wants a fight he can win. Since Hatton took his name out of the running, it's obviously Pac.

why would Margarito fight Oscar instead of Paul Williams?

same reason OScar would fight Pac instead of Margo

Well, while those sound like similar scenarios, they aren't.

Who can begrudge Margarito for looking to fight Margarito when he's never made a lot of money for his fights. Wouldn't you look to get as much money as you can as well as fight in front of the most people?

DLH's made more money then most active boxers combined. He's already made a ton of money and is looking to cash out still? In a fight vs. a midget? :huh

though MArgarito hasn't made nearly as much money as Oscar in his career, he is still a wealthy person. Just like Margarito, ODLH also wants to "get as much money as you can as well as fight in front of the most people", regardless of how rich he already is.

And the same way Oscar is looking to cash out against a smaller man (no need to disrespect Pac by calling him a midget), Margarito is also looking to cash out, against a man who's well past his prime

Well, you said it was similar, and it's really not. One guy doesn't have 300mill like the other guy.

There have been too many fights where old vets just "cash out" and fans act like it's alright. It's different when it's the younger guys who fought for peanuts for their whole career.

Believe me, I know what you were getting at. But I jusrt don't see those two situations as same.

theres a difference between 2 situations being the same, and two situations being similar. I don't see them as the same either. Oscar clearly is more pathetic.

Also i didn't say the situations were similar, just the motivation of the fighters

Oscar wants to fight an Arum fighter he can beat. The height and reach difference would be like Delahoya-Camacho but Pacquiao will be throwing leather.
