An Open Letter to Vitali Klitschko- Stick Around Awhile!

How desperate, hahahaha.

 

I've always had respect for Vitali and Wlad, I think both are great for boxing, it's their opponents recently that aren't so good. But Wlad's win over a prime Byrd and Vitali's win over Sanders and life and death struggle with Lewis will forever be ingrained in my memory. I cringe to think how the HW scene will be when the Klits are gone. You think it's bad now...

If both Klitschko brothers retired tomorrow the title would change hands every few fights.

 

I'm a big Klitschko fan but I'd rather see Vitali retire after a couple more fights because then we may actually get a unified, undisputed Champion in Wladimir. Besides that I do believe he's slipped a bit and age is catching up to him. He'd be better off not tarnishing his legacy like Toney, Holyfield & many others make the mistake of doing.............

Right but not a couple of more fights. Vitali turned 40 this year.

Wlad turned 35 this year and i hope Wlad can make boxing history and gets all the 4 major belts at the same time.

Vitali is a huge reason the division is considered so weak. There needs to be one dominant champion to rule the division. At this stage, Vitali is hurting the division, boxing as a whole and his brothers legacy. It's Wlad's era and the sooner Vitali steps aside, the better.

Vitalis time was in 2004/2005. He could have unified the titles and so on. At this time nobody noticed Wlad. But Vitali decided to reitre.

Wlad was on his way to the top and Vitali came back and fights Peter.

In 2010 Wlad had to fight Peter again.

If Wlad could have fought Peter in 2008 to unify, it would have been great for boxing.

So it was another Mandatory for Wlad.

I hope Wlad will fight Haye to unify the next title.

see the wlad thompson fight. tony conects in every round and he is not fast. it was an equal fight, until tony gassed.
