Make no middtake about it- Lennox was the man. But he is very happy in retirement, and has nothing to prove.

Vitaly can still do himself a lot of good.

Whereas I respect the principled opposition of all those who want Wladdy to unify the belts, the belts ae never, ever going to be uiified again. The ABC organizations won;t allow it, and four mandatory defenses a year is just too many.

Of course, it's big brothers job :bbb:!:

I see Vitali retiring at the end of this year with enough credentials to lead him into the HOF someday :good

Great post. Vitali said he wants to fight on. I can not recall one heavyweight champ who held his belt from his 30's to 40's without losing it. Vitali will be 40 this July.

After Solis, Vitali should fight Adamek, Haye, Vaulev or Povetkin. I woudl perfer Haye, but he's already backed out once. So Adamek makes the most sense as he is highly rated and in his prime.

Bumping my own thread as it is now more dignificant than ever after the Solis demolition.

Vitaly- you could do some of your best work over 40. Your legacy is in your own hands.

At first, I thought typo, nothing interesting.

Then, I wondered if you weren't trying to tell us something in code.

Would love for Vitali to get Lewis into a ring. Would be a really good knock out for Vitali!!!!!!

Against a 45-year-old man who hasn't fought in almost eight years? Really, Farmy? You would like that and think it would result in a "good" knockout?

Lebron James isn't even going to be an NBA champ anytime soon, nevermind a HW champ

Guys, Vitali's going to retire this year - next spring the latest. He's pushing his political career now and there are elections in Kiev and Ukraine coming up next year.

Vitali vs Valuev would be fantastic, and I believe it's quite likely to happen in the autumn.

We have heard this song from him before.

In any event, if he gets some combination of Haye, Adamek and Valeuv in the ring before hanging it up, I will be happy.

    I agree.

I would like to see Haye beat Wlad, then VK beats Haye, defends against Povetkin & Adamek, then retires.
