larl kd briggs 3 times. 1st was legit. the 2nd and 3rd kds, briggs was hit on the shoulder. he lay down and dogged it.

after the fight, larl said he felt dissapointed as he hadnt really kod the bloke. he got the win, but felt robbed of a legit win....FACT!

I totally agree about wayne, he would have been world class in he stayed with boxing full time, I think he was mad that he didn't he could have made some very good money,

I have met wayne few times and seen him fight in boxing and thai fight that many time, he is a true fighter. the toughest man that australia has had in the last 15 years, if he stayed at boxing full time and was match maked well on the way up he could now be a very wealthy man.

Hi Rod , would be great to see Corbett cross sports. He is a real tough guy, I have never seen anyone lift people off there feet with the elbow like he does.

Rod has stated it better than I ever could. You are also a bit hard on Carnage - he has only recently found the size that allows him to sit as an honest HW rather than a bloated CW.

BTW it was Green mouthing off about using elbows, forearms, etc against Lesnar :rofl that even made me suggest Carnage in jest. Green seems to enjoy dodging legit boxing threats and seems to look for a circus - Golden elbows would be a sight to see across from Green.

And Parr only Pacific level - the way you put it seems a massive underachievement to be Australian, Regional and World class across some or all four different forms of stand up fighting.:verysad

The Choo Ruiz fight kinda set the path to where Paul would go, he showed when someone hits back he doeesn't step up a gear and goes a bit cautious, thats the prime Briggs and no disrespect i know you trained him but he was gettin massively over rated sayin he would kill Green in his prime, Green is a lot better than Choo ruiz and prime Paul just sneaked past him after getting dropped.

**** that is true and said his mind wasn't on it etc and didn't train, Paul gets to much love by some when he clearly will dog it.

Just spoke to Noel Thornbury and discussed the Zada fight with him and Noel agrees Paul layed down in that one, something about a good shoulder punch. Also had a good chat about the Ricky sparring sessions and I would suggest Sally give him a ring to clear his mind a bit. He remembers things a bit different too.

look mate Parr is a amazing fighter, this is a boxing forum and parr did not go past regional standard, that is fact, not saying it is good or bad, it is a fact. At thai fighting and kick boxing Parr is the greatest fight Australia has ever had. but with boxing he only made pacific level, the reason is because he did not fully focus on the sport. he had the ability to make to world champion level at boxing. As i said before boxing is a lot harder to get top than any other combat sport because there is just more people doing it.

You have rewritten what I have spelt out. I know all about Parr and what he could have done, I also saw a bloke that like many Muay Thai fighters saved the arse of boxing shows by taking fights cause the contenders dont want a loss or the Indo fighter tested positive for Hep.

All I pointed out was Green was recently talking himself up against Lesnar under rules Danny spelt out that were closer to Muay Thai than boxing.
