Fury is the currently the greatest HW in the world
Fury has the best resume of all current HWs.

The rest of your post is mostly nonsense.

    Some of it is laughable.

I like the little side note of how the fights apparently went. Seems a little biased though, given that many, including myself, feel Fury should have been disqualified for his win over Cunningham. I see his first McDermott win failed to make the grade. I’m curious, does that go down as a war, or a controversial result?

Dont act like Im being weird. You the one kept bringing him up.

As for Furys resume. Yay, hes the #2 guy in one of the worst divisions. And there are 17 of them... Now you are talking about contemporary but that is quite the switch up from beforehand. Good one.

Furys resume is a bit thin with respect to top 5 fighters. He wasted three fights on Wilder, never should have been a third, instead of fighting Joshua. Now he doesn't want to fight Whyte, ok, but who does he want to fight instead....

Hilarious how mugs on this forum try to project that it would have been more impressive for Fury to face Wilder only once, and then face Rice Pudding Jr and Paint Dry Parker, or something along those lines.

    It's not that.
    This content is protected
= a shell of Fury that no one gave a realistic chance of winning, turned up and embarrassed Wilder in his home town, being controversially robbed on the cards.
    This content is protected
= an in-shape Fury dominates Wilder that it puts into perspective the context of the first fight.
    This content is protected
= an out of shape and uninterested Fury gives Wilder a career shortening beating and knocked him out.

Maybe he can just keep fighting Wilder, who is still top 5 after all...
Or maybe Everyone with functioning eyes knew Fury had the beating of Wilder after the first fight. And
    This content is protected
    whilst entertaining
    This content is protected
    into a better opponent

So? The point is Wilder is still a better opponent than Martin, Molina, Breazeale, Paint Dry, Tickling Takam, Povetkin, Rice Pudding Jr, Pudding Pulev et al.

The spin that these Joshua fanboys put on things makes them look very silly indeed.

I would like to see Wilder fight Parker and Ruiz who are both legitimate top 10 fighters and former world champions. So, I'm sorry, but Wilder doesn't get credit for taking two beatings off of Fury. But he will get credit if and when he fights and beats one of them. Until that time I'm personally not confident that he is better than them.

This is the issue with lauding Fury's resume on the basis of the trilogy (not discounting Klitschko)

Furys wins over Wlad and Wilder were better than any of AJs wins, but Joshua has faced a wider range of top contenders and has more depth on his resume. I think the caliber of opponents pretty much goes Wlad > Wilder > 4-5 guys that AJ has fought > the third best guy Fury has fought.

His dominant wins over a decade unbeaten Klitschko and unbeaten WBC champ Wilder is a tier more impressive than AJs whole record thats for sure

I haven't noticed many people "lauding" Fury's record. It's just that it's clearly much better than anyone else's.

Still really don't understand how a win over wilder is held in such regard he'll go down as one of the worst heavyweight champs of all time
