Think if Fury is being honest he wouldn't say Wilder, instead he would admit John McDermott did actually beat him in their first fight.

You’re having a laugh aren’t you, almost every half decent Heavyweight prospect has a high KO percentage in their first 10 to 15 fights, Strangely enough Joshua won the World Title in his 16th fight, what was Wilder doing in his 16th fight lol.

The problem with Wilders record is that he continued to fight guys outside the top 300 for around 35 fights and even after that his typical opponent was only marginally better.

    WTF are you on!

Klitschko started well but only clearly took the 1st Rd, after that it was blow for blow in the 2nd & 3rd then Lewis changed tactics and battered him for 3 rounds.

The cut was caused by a punch and was terrible, it was rightfully stopped but had they let V Klitschko come out for the 7th he was getting knocked out because the fight had massively swung in Lewis’s favour and he was uppercutting Vitali at will.

I don't think Wilder would have got him, so it is a moot point.

Actually, he more or less admitted it. He posted picks on the internet of him as a diver.

Incorrect. They were the heaviest me of their day and it all comes down to who was taking on an beating the best. Wilder did not fight the best, period.

Im not sure where Wilders fanboys get their front to be honest!
Here’s Deontay fight record, take a good look at the quality of his opponents and ask yourself how many of them had any ambition to get up off the canvass?

Look at Wilders opponents in his 16th to 23rd fights and compare that with Joshua’s.
Wilder has fought 3 men who occupied a rank inside the top 10 at the time of the fight,
FFS THREE! THREE FFS! (Can I exclaim this any more to highlight that stat)
One of those was ‘paper Champion’ Bermaine Stiverne who’s ranking was manufactured!
Only 12 of Wilders 43 fights have been against an opponent inside the top 100 rankings
19 are Unranked and most of the rest are outside the top 300 or even 400 ranked fighters!

Please, don’t anyone try and argue that Wilder is an ATG with that dross as a resumé!

    It’s embarrassing!!

Interesting stats, but surely that is a typo on Breazeale's ranking.

Not at the time of the fight with Wilder, if you remember it, Whyte had been WBCs Nō1 contender for 2 years but Wilders Management really didn’t want that fight so the WBC manufactured a higher ranking for Breazeale and then made him Wilders mandatory ahead of Whyte.

Ah got you. You are using WBC rankings, yeah they likely had him high given they made him mandatory.
I assumed you were using boxrec for all the rankings, as to my knowledge WBC doesn't rank publicly beyond top 40.

Edit: Actually wait a minute, but you have Stiverne at #5 when he was WBC champion. What rankings are you using?
