What are some historical fights that are analogous to PAC Vs Mayweather in terms of style match up? Two I can think of: -Calz V Hopkins -Whitaker Vs Chavez (these aren't that close I'm sure there are better ones)

A lot of people are comparing this fight to Hopkins - Trinidad in 2001. Trinidad was a star on a hot streak, and Hopkins was a good, but relatively unknown fighter. We all know how it turned out. In reality, I don't see how Pac-PBF compares to that fight. Pacquiao is on a hotter streak, and is a lot more talented than Trinidad was, and Floyd is way more popular than Hopkins was back then. If Mayweather wins, I'd see the similarities...(veteran schools hotshot), but style-wise, these fights don't compare to each other. But if Pac wins, it would be like Duran beating Leonard.
Good thing about Chavez-Whitaker is Pernell is a south-paw. Same with Calz, who is also a volume puncher like Manny. Unfortunately he is feather fists which kills the analogy.
