Before this spectical, I put calebs chances at 10%. Now it is 1%. Put yourself in his position, caleb threw a very nice open palm example of slap, with absolutely no telegraphing. Thats the sort of slap you can tell he fully expected to land, he also has far superior reach. He threw the fast bitchslap, which was dodged, and countered by a canelo that was not even in the ring yet. Imagine trying ur fastest unexpected slap on a guy your going to box and he counters you like that? Also, canelo has the same face as JIMMY ( main character ) from that old BULLY video game.. do you agree?

You're putting way too much into this. Clenelo shoved another man HARD. Another man who happens to be a fighter. He prepared for the inevitable return fire and had the entire length of Plant's stroll to prepare.
I'm thinking about that for a while. Both Canelo and Jimmy are bully and ginger. The game released in 2006 and Canelo was 15 in that date. Jimmy was also 15 according to the game's story. Jimmy character definitely was inspired by Canelo.
Plants slap wasn't telegraphed? Plant made it very obvious that he was about to slap Canelo. He basically handed Canelo an easy counter because he had to do something or look like pansy.
A first a thought that Plant missed the slap but he connected pretty hard, still impressive how fast Canelo countered and Plant definitely got the worst of that exchange. I expect Canelo to stop Plant.
Badou Jack posted a video where you can hear a pretty loud smack, you don’t get that sound if you “barley touching with upper side of fingers”, Canelo did not avoid it, that simple.
