Great analysis probably the best I have seen on here This is a hard fight for people to post objectively on since there was a lot of animosity between fans before during and after the fight. It has also been labeled disappointing by many who from the build up expected some form of war I think many came away with the idea that they were afraid of each other and that Wlad did just a little more or some blame Haye all together this breakdown shows Wlad and Haye's plan and while you will rarely to never see me give Haye any form of credit I cant blame him or say he didnt try. Its clear that Wlads great game plan allowed only a few real opportunities and Haye's plan left Wlad few opportunities I thought what Wlad did best was walk him down and corner him, many call Wlad too cautious but he walked right at a big puncher and tried to pin him in a corner all night kind of like a chess player trying to end a match I dont think this was an exciting fight and as a Wlad fan it would have been satisfying to see Wlad score the knockout but he dominated Haye for 12 rounds and showed lots of skill and probably surprised the hell out of Haye I think most people just see Wlads height jab and power, and think he has a weak chin and will just fold I think most fighters fans and Haye himself underestimate just how fast Wlad is and how good his footwork is, if he wasnt as fast or good on his feet he would have got tagged by Haye all night As far as a Vitali fight I dont think he fights Haye the same way, I think he actually comes in and counters rather than back out of range like Wlad did Wlad seemed content to make Haye miss and then reestablish the center of the ring and stalk Haye back I think Vitali will try to land on Haye when Haye tries to attack, I think the Vitali fight would be much more exciting than the fight with Wlad
