Take into consideration that Canelo is more marketable and younger... I don't see Floyd getting the nod with his defensive style.

Canelo's punch-rate will drop and floyds shots will be head snapping. Floyd throws fast crisp punches, not that pitty pat **** trout does. Floyd will win on ring generalship and clean punching.

It is interesting actually. Canelo is the Golden Boy fighter, their next cash cow. Floyd has his own promotion company although he works with Golden Boy. I don't know much about boxing politics but is there any chance Mayweather will get robbed? Or I mean will the judges give close/swing rounds to Canelo? Thats what I implied by in the op that if Canelo can find a way to reduce Mayweather's connect percentages and not allow him to use the shoulder roll to look in control, maybe the judges might favour him.

Why wouls anyone think that the judges would favor Alvarez. Floyd is the Man and I doubt Alvarez will get any favors after the outright cheating the judges pulled in the trout fight.

the same Karma that Pac got in 4th fight with JMM or his loss to Bradley?
Lots of fighters have had close fights go their way. At least Floyd went straight back and gave castillo a rematch to prove who was the better fighter.
Pac said Bradley wanted too much money for a rematch, which leaves the boxing world no choice but to accept his loss to bradley.

I think Floyd is actually going to look better in this fight than he did against the Ghost. Word from his training camp is he's looking more crisp than he has in quite some time, and that can be easily attributed to the fact that he's not going on another one of his year long hiatus' from boxing.

I wish Canelo luck, he's going to need it. This will be the largest weight discrepancy come fight night since FLoyd took on Baldomir. Canelo better hope his combinations will eventually land on Floyd, otherwise it's going to be a boxing lesson from the 1st round on....

True it has been a long time since floyd has had 2 fights 4 months apart he should be at his very best.

Floyd is no one to fear. Canelo just had a fight too, and is aware of what what brings. Both will bring their A-game.

Miguel was nowhere near being stopped in the 12th . That punch simply knocked him off balance . Read Miguel's body language he did not hold nor did he retreat .
Once again this myth needs to die already

I wouldn't read into that much , they said the same exact thing before the Cotto fight . " Floyd looks as sharp as he did for the Corrales fight - Roger Mayweather

The very next night Floyd was drinking his own blood .

Canelo ain't $hit and that is the reason he will lose, beating JWW Gomez, Lopez, Hatton and barely getting by Trout will not prepare him for arguably the best fighter in the palnet...

canelo has a good chance.the fact he punches hard and in combination helps.he's also the best body puncher in the game.it'd behoove him to work on a 3 punch combo that ends with a left to the body followed by a sweeping right hook as floyd will be circling left.
