Clottey's game plan of trying to tire out Pac didn't work. I think he was intimidated by Pac's presence.

He was Ring Magazine's #5 Welterweight at that time right? and people say he's a -B level fighter?

Because he was defeated by Pac, that's why.
I would agree he was a B level fighter AFTER the bout with Pac.
But before that, you just have to be kidding me.
Also, he was the best option at the moment.
It was either Clottey or no fight for Pac.

Clottey was never that good, I always tried to discuss this but people labeled him "elite", specifically Concreto fans. His skills are overrated, he has no stamina, overrated power, decent chin, no heart, decent defense and that's about it. His excuses make him easier to dislike, wasn't his excuse against Pacquiao diarrhea?

Clottey is a great fighter and would've beat anyone on that night but he was in there with the greatest of all time.. Only a great fighter can stand up to Pacquiao and not get knocked out.

Simple. But let them overrate the **** out of it. Pac's master plan and performance stopped Clottey from throwing from his sheer fear of Pac. :-(
