I got Garcia for the upset too. If Khan can't beat peterson what's he gonna do with someone who boxes better, is quicker, has more power, has shown a better chin and is hungry as **** for this fight?!?! Can't believe people have forgotten about Amir's performance vs Peterson where he showed he has no ability to adapt or deal with someone who keeps him on the backfoot. As long as Garcia doesn't opt to try and outbox him from mid range I see upset written all over this one.

PS: anyone that's bringing up Morales vs Garcia are morons!!! Morales and Khan fight nothing alike first of all so it's irrelevant and secondly if you saw anything but Garcia on his way to a lopsided decision win with the possbility of a late stoppage then you don't know **** about boxing. The boy wasn't in trouble once in the Morales fight and clearly controlled the fight with boxing skills and made nice adjustments along the way, something Khan is incapable of. People are just on Morales' nuts and giving a legend brownie points....he got his ass whupped by Garcia!

wtf are you talking about???you're the only fanboy here, get off glass jawed khans dick ******. garcias not even in my top 20 favorite fighters, he's ok i guess, nothing special but solid all around.....i just think he can beat khan, it can go either way imo but if he pressures khan and doesn't try to outbox him at mid range then he's got a very good chance at upsetting khan who only has one way to fight and has a disgraceful chin. it cracks me that after his last performance these khan fanboys are so confident again vs a better fighter than lamont, to the point they consider this garcia fight a cakewalk......there's no way this is an easy fight for Khan.

People are forgetting how good of a fighter Khan is on the outside. Yes, he sometimes lunges and forgets to bring his feet under him as he rushes in with little sense of pace, but let's not pretend he's unskilled and ungifted here. His timing with that fast jab, above all his punches, is very good, and for all of his flaws in terms of movement, he circles well and knows how to maintain his preferred range. Only Maidana and Peterson have been able to effectively penetrate Khan's control of distance (neither dominantly), which over time, has gotten better and will continue to do so. Garcia, while a good fighter, is not creative or experienced enough to catch Khan with anything significant repeatedly as Khan comes in, nor to force him to open up consistently by pressing. Morales picked him apart in most of the early rounds just by timing a right hand over his jab as he slips inwards-a neat trick that comes with experience which Khan does not have in his own repertoire, but the fact remains that he could not adjust or find a way to neutralize Morales' control of distance, besides the bursts of offense and opportune counters presented by Morales's carelessness coming forward that presented themselves later in the fight, as age took its toll and youth won the war of attrition.

I see Khan taking a UD or a late KO/TKO in a good fight, as Garcia will at least compete well.

He makes some interesting points here in this video concerning Khan's weaknesses, but I have to disagree with his view on game-plans:

Relying exclusively on in-ring adjustments from your limited point of view as rounds go by is dangerous. I understand depending on a single strategy can be disastrous, but why not then have 2, 3, 4 plans of attack as opposed to none?

Man just watching the replay of Garcia vs Morales ive gotta say Morales is a hell of a fighter. One of a kind. I had it pretty much even going into the 11th after Morales took the 10th. I didnt like Garcia waiting so much. He is smart but he was playing chess with the grand master El Terrible.

I too had the morales garcia fight even going into the 11th.. Can't see how some are saying garcia dominated. At times morales made him look a complete amateur, although i suppose this was to be expected, baring in mind actually how good morales was and still is.

Against Morales, Garica proved that he boxes decently, is patient and has good power. At the end of the day he ended the fight on his terms..

I am leaning toward khan 55-45. however, as pointed out, khan is far from perfect so I see this one as reasonably close. If Garcia can deal with the speed and punch I definitely see him being successful because he has better all round skills of the two and seems to have the pop to test the average punch resistance khan displays. Khan is not hard to hit and looks easy to hurt. And dare i say when he is hurt he looses the plot.
