Chavez Jr actually has a chin and doesnt leave it exposed unlike Khan. I wouldnt be surprised if Chavez Jr beats Martinez. Thats a tough fight for both.

you're a ****ing moron!!! did you even watch the fight? garcia was throwing that same punch since round 1 trying to time him, he threw it no less than 5 times before ultimately catching him!!

you've clearly never watched the kid fight as this is a punch that's always been in his arsenal. this was about as lucky as Mayweathers check hook KO of Ricky Hatton.

This reminds me of people saying Sexy Sergio got a lucky shot when he stopped Tall Paul.

"lucky punches" is common vocab for people who don't know what they're watching or worst not even paying attention

you have to totally disregard the rest of the fight and all of danny's previous career up until round 4 to call that a lucky punch

Khan had **** defense and got countered up stairs all night, watch the 1st round Garcia countered with a left hook, its just that that shot that floored him had alot more power on it but yeah khan got countered all night.

    @Genaro G;

Having read this thread and analyzed your thought process just this far (page 2,) and having already seen the result of Khan vs Garcia, my honest conclusion is that you do have a truly brilliant boxing mind... no kidding, and no pun intended. You're :good

My one request to you, however, is that you don't let this your good run get into your head, please; keep it realistic, honest, and emotion free. My reason for the request? I want to be able to enjoy your thought process - when it pertains to boxing in this era - for quite a while. Selfish, I know, but, in this case, ain't too proud to follow. Thanks.

BTW, while I'm still on page 2, I think this is the best thread ever, in terms of the potential it holds for a post Khan-Garcia fight analysis. I say this because quite a number of posters on here have drawn hard lines in the sand already regarding their predictions for the fight itself.

In addition, I'm going over to search - for reading - your other threads on here, if any.

Thanks bro. I really appreciate ur words. However if i keep posting youtube links to 'fully coywrited fights,' you wont be able to ever follow me again lol. This is genaro g by the way.

No but real talk, its just boxing. I watch it for entertainment and for rubbing it in the faces of *******s and recently khantards. I study boxing for the sole purpose of making their lives miserable. Lol just playing.

Boxing can be so fake most of the time and you always know who is going to win but sometimes it can be real, and within the last year its been more real than i have ever seen. But i only started 'studying' boxing back in like 2008. My goal is to see this era of *******ism and khantardism come to end, and witness one of the greatest to retire undefeated and hopefully follow one of these young rising stars try to become as great.

This forum is crazy because you get to talk to people that are literally obsessed with the fight game. But coming from the town that raised the late and great Johnny 'mi vida loca' Tapia, i only know ONE person who understands boxing and will watch any fight and can enjoy it as if its a mega ppv event. Out of the 20 or so people i talk boxing with, none of them are hardcore fans like we are on here. I forgot what the **** i was trying to say, my bad im distracted around here.

Anyway all i mean to say is thanks, im proud to be a boxing fan and an unbiased one at that. Well as close as you can get to being unbiased anyways, and that plus loving the science.of boxing id say are the most important things to have in order to understand the reality of this sport.

More grease to your elbows, GG.

BTW, I read in another thread where you said that you wouldn't be surprised were Chavez Jr. to defeat Martinez come Sept. 15. Is it that, based on your analysis you think Chavez has improved that much of recent, or you've held that view for some time now? I'm I trying too much to not let the recent good run of Chavez sway me from my own view that Martinez would be too much for Chavez to handle at the present time? If you'd rather treat/have treated this issue elsewhere, I'll understand, as long as you please point me there.

I need to study the match up before i pick a winner. But im leaning towarda Chavez Jr. People still have the image of Martinez knocking out Pwil but Chavez Jr. has a great chin. He is showing he is of the same cloth of his dad. His head movement, foot and hand speed and defense and feints coming inside are impressive for being such a big guy. If u can push Chavez back n make him fight off the back foot maybe u got a chance but Martinez aint slick or tough enough to fight backwards n keep Chavez off his chest for 12 rds. And since i think Chavez solid chin negates Martinez power, he will be too big and too quick on foot for Martinez. Chavez should win this.

Khan was being countered well. He had no plan B. It was only a matter of time. Would love to see a re-match later on down the line.

Khan needs to quit making excuses and find a new trainer. I think Steward would do him some good
