Not too long ago, there was the Edison Miranda believers whom thought he would become something special. Before tonight, many of you thought that Sam Peter would take care of Vitali. Can't the boxing experts recognize fighters for what they are ? Miranda and Peter are in the same class...very limited and certainly not champ material !! Sam Peter needs to come in at 240 tops to become legit...no more !! Take away the hype since 2004 and especially his iron jaw, then Sam Peter is no more than a good durable journeyman...
Most people were picking Peter because Vitali was coming off a 4 year layoff due to injury. I dont see why the people that picked Peter to win should be crucified for their predictions. It was a valid reason to pick Peter if you ask me.
Yep, Vitali's layoff and injuries was the reason I didn't make an official prediction. My analysis was simply that Vitali beats him handily if he's healthy. Nothing surprising in this one.
