I see froch stopping AA around round 9, after coming off the floor, AA will floor Froch very early like taylor, After going to war early on, then next few rounds box on the long rang smashing AA body, then break him down and stop him in the corner, , please remeber froch has heavy heavy hands ask kessler who said "he is slow but hits very very heavy"

Froch tends to get hit cleanly. Not good in this scenario.

Well that's it right there. Sounds obvious I know, but you can't go through 12 rounds of being hit cleanly against a power-house like Abraham. If Froch is to win this, he must not do what he normally comes to do - wage war.

His best bet is to jump on Abraham immediately, take advantage of his slow start and rack up the points for later. Then when Abraham comes to life, run!! Keep him at bay with the long reach, and avoid letting him drag him into a gun-fight.

Hmm I really can´t see a clear winner of that one.
The guys who say that Froch is to tall for AA tend to forget that Dirrell is taller than AA and Froch aswell (ok, Abe got his ass handed is that one). Oral is also as tall as Froch is, not quite a puncher like Froch but a decent boxer. You know what happened to him.
Ikeke, the fighter who had the IBF title fight against AA where AA won the title for the first time in 2005, was 6´4 and AA knocked him out in the 5th.

After that, Ikeke fought Pascal and went the whole 12 rounds, losing 110-118, 111-117, 113-115.
I hope you get my point. Height isn´t everything. But I also have to mention that you can´t compare Froch to those fighters, he is in a different league.

My prediction on the outcome of this fight changes everytime I come to think about it haha.

I'm still on the fence. Froch is awkward, powerful and tough, but Abraham can at least match Froch in any of these departments, plus has quicker hands and is harder to hit. Froch might well be able to outwork at Abraham at range for a few rounds, but I think he'll be too open when Abraham goes on the offensive. Dirrell was able to avoid a lot of Abe's biggest shots in the later rounds because of his speed and reflexes, but Froch would have no option but to just eat the punches. Plus, he's far more open to heavy counters. His chin is good, but Abraham's power is exceptional. Even if Abraham doesn't KO Froch, he might be able to take over on points by knocking Froch down or making him hestitant to engage.

On the other side of the fence though, Froch is still a powerful super-middleweight who is going to hit Abraham harder than he's been hit thus far in the tournament. I still think he might be strong enough to club Abraham around a bit at range, or stall his advances. This might just be enough to keep Abraham on the defensive for a round or so longer than his usual, and give Froch enough to win a points decision. I don't see Froch knocking him out though, I reckon's Abraham's defense will spare him from the worst of Froch's attacks.

    My thinking, too.

Froch has the size, attributes, and no small amount of ability required to win this fight, but that old-school banger style he seems to enjoy using (and what makes his fights exciting) means he'll almost certainly get caught flush a few times. AA's the wrong fighter to be in with if that's how it's going to be.

    60:40 in AA's favour.
