That was bull****, d IBF took d belt away from him because he was 10lbs over after d first weight in, so I just can imagine how much more he had gained, beside just by looking at d two of them you could tell.
Gamboa ko a junior featherweight that weight at 122 pounds in the weigh in. :rofl And Lopez was killing himself to make weight vs Mtagwa in which is why Lopez went up in weight. Lopez then move up and beat Luevano who's better then Mtagwa.
Maybe you missed that part of the telecast but HBO said they weighed both of them on their unofficial scales and that they both weighed in at 140 pounds. Stop trying to make excuses for Gamboa's sub-par performance tonight, you're reminding me of JuanMa fans who made some lame excuses as to why he struggled with Mtagwa.
Lorenzo or Luevano? because if you r talking about Luevano, he is crap, lucky to had won that belt, now I think Concepcion almost decapitate Juanma in his last fight, or I might b wrong.
What I see of gomboa is that he is fast and hits hard cause of his speed, but don't have the stamina to keep punching non stop. combos take a break, combos take a break over and over again. If paquiao was in his weight class he'll murder him and not just manny, but others that will show a good beard and stimina.
I didn't miss anything, I just telling you that d IBF took d belt awy from salido because he was overweight, maybe d PEDS make him gain weight or he just drank a pepsi, beside I just made a comment, Gamboa won easy, this is not an excuse. Subpar? Boy you guys r really blind when it comes to gamboa, he was fighting a very good profesional fighter, a Belt holder, what is it that u want? don't change your name when he takes Juanmas head with one punch.
:nut He knock down Lopez but he wasn't close of stopping him. Besides that, Lopez destroyed Concepcion in the 2nd round.
They both weighed in 140 in the ring and things didn't look all that easy for Gamboa in there who IMO looked legitimately hurt by the punch that led to the knockdown. I like Gamboa and have been a supporter of his since 08 but I'm not gonna act like things were all good in there for him.
Like I said, no hay peor ciego que el que no quiere ver, If you don't want to c it, even if it hit you on d face, u will not c it. I had never seen gamboa hurt, and he got hit flush and went down with his punch, not because salido's.
Too much showboating, and hitting Salido when he was down was ****ed up and then he lied about it when they asked him about it. Besides that it was a good performance against a tough guy. As of now I still think Gamboa will beat Lopez. It's hard to say for sure though because of Lopez's excellent power. I'm really looking forward to that fight. I'm holding off on my final judgement until after Lopez-Marquez.
Thats the beauty of the fight, opinions are switching constantly on who would win. I've been a gamboa fan since his debut and favor him to beat lopez as well, for the record for when the fight finally happens
