But that was nothing compared to the punishment Briggs took! In reality the fight should have been stopped, it was such a one sided beat down. Got to give credit to Briggs for hanging in there and not quiting on his stool. Briggs definitely has heart.
If the Briggs corner was smart and caring enough, they would have stopped the fight much earlier as the Peter camp did. I thought it was just disgraceful to let Briggs take a beating like that.:-(
There was a moral victory there. For the people with asthma to see their man outlast in a fight against someone who knocks everyone out. Briggs is a beast no doubt. But someone should've stopped the fight for him, that was difficult to watch after a while. That was the type of fight that has permanent effects on a boxer.

It's kind of sad that Briggs didn't fight some sort of contender before fighting Vitali. He said that was one of his best performances but that's just talk, we'll never know how good he really was. He looked to be in form adn sharp to me.
