Gotta admit, I feel a little sad, but it's for the best.

about time, he should have done this ages ago. he has no punch resistance anymore. its sad but he has been knocked out his last 3 fights to shots that a few years ago he would have taken. im going to reminisce and go and watch him vs wanderlei.

    I'm happy!
A prime Liddell brutally knocks Evans, Franklin!
    Shogun is special.

I think that the last prime Liddell was vs Ortiz 2. Rampage is the one who started the KO party on Liddell. (I'm not saying that Liddell wasnt prime vs Jackson 2, it just didnt matter since Rampage had Chuck's number)
I'm still surprise that W.Silva didnt KO chuck.

Top 3 LHW in the history of MMA! (Shogun first!)

THANK GOD! it was hurting me to see the guy that got me into mma get brutalized. but yea its like one poster said, liddell wouldve wiped the floor with evans and franklin. and tbh i actually think liddlel would beat shogun in his prime, he'd be getting his ass kicked before catching shogun coming in with his right hand

Glad to see it Chuck Liddell didnt deserve to have to being woke up after every single fight. The man is a legend and IMO the greatest Light Heavyweight of all time and some of his brutal KOs and great fights will forever be stuck in my head. Happy they gave him a job as well lets him finally put his degree to good use.

Thanks for the memories Chuck, and also thanks for shortening the memories of your opponents for our entertainment

  11. Chuck Liddell is one of those main figures that has been building MMAs profile for western sports fans.

Probably decided for the best he finish with the fighting. Great news they have made a place for him in building the fastest growing sport.

I hope they keep him real busy. Otherwise I fear the worst for Chuck, he seems like he could be a car crash waiting to happen.

I don't think Chuck was the best lhw ever h2h ('05 Shogun would beat the **** out of him IMO), but he has a strong case to have had the best lhw career. He should've retired a long time ago, the Franklin fight was just embarrassing, but this can never obscure the fact that he is a stone cold MMA ATG.

Chuck has a record stacked with names. But im inclined to agree somewhat as i would have preferred if Chuck had fought in PRIDE for sometime when Wandy Jackson Shogun Igor etc were there. Personally i think Igor Prime Wandy and Shogun would have beaten the living **** out of him.

Not sure about Igor (haven't seen much of him in his prime), but I agree about Wandy too.
