I just find it funny how the same people who hate all these black boxers who "box", love Usyk and Loma so much. I'm actually a big fan of Usyk and Loma, though obviously I'd root for an American/Japanese boxer if they ever fought, but I wouldn't despise these guys like these white power fans hate almost every black boxer. At first I thought maybe they really just hate boxers, and only love guys who go toe to toe, but that was obviously foolish of me, the reason was obvious.

On a serious note... I can see the parallels between Usyk and a younger more aggressive Mayweather. You might have a point to an extent, but I definitely see some racial hostility towards Usyk on the other end as well from people who usually enjoy his style. Whatever, racialism will always be present among boxing fans - and that's OK just so long as it doesn't get in the way how they rate a fighters skills, attributes and overall accomplishments/legacy - otherwise that's when it truly because RACISM.

I just find it funny how people try to act like they love GGG because of his style and it has nothing to do with his race, but these same people rooted for Postol to beat Crawford, and are fans of Usyk and Loma.

To me when it becomes racism is when people start hating almost every boxer from their country because of thier skin color, and start rooting for boxers from other countries just because of race. And yes this applies to let's say a black Ukranian hating on Usyk, Loma etc, but then dickriding all the cubans.

You haven't watched the fight. There where no similarities in their styles. *Maybe* a young- pre hand injury- more aggressive Mayweather. (Very exciting fighter btw)

Really? I see most Mayweather/Ward fans hype Loma up and give him massive credit. Where is all this hatred? I 100% agree that GGG gets a lot of hate from Mayweather/Ward fans, but I've rarely seen any hate for Loma, and as for Usyk, no one even talks about him.

 

Well according to most people here, rounds 1-9 was boring and wasnt even close to living up to the hype. So I guess I should be expecting a Mayweather/Gatti like performance right?

I'm a fan of Usyk, Loma, Mayweather, and Ward too. I just find it funny how all of these threads about Usyk are being made and the same people who hate Mayweather/Ward etc, are here praising him like some kind of god. I just can't help but call them out .
