I miss the prince. The guy was pure entertainment. You know he's just acting up because the cameras were there. I guarantee when the camera's are off he'd be pissing his sides laughing with whoever was there with him. At the same time he could be a ***** as well. But ultimately a phenomenal waste of talent.
I always felt Hamed was very immature, but that when he was on his own, not showing off, that he was down to earth.
Say what you want about him, but he was the most entertaining fighter theres ever been. By the way if he hadnt had such a good chin he would have been knocked out many times
LOL, thats how popular he is, 50 yrs after his retirement and u still get Prince Naseem threads . Best Entertainer In all Sports Of All Time :good
He single handedly got the world interested in the lightweight divisions, and made lightweight boxers marketable. Without him boxers like Mayweather, Pacquaio, Hatton and Khan wouldn't be as famous and popular as they are.
naseem hamed was one of the fighters to get me into boxing. i remember staying up for his US debut i got so pissed off with him for taking so long to come out that i wanted kelly to knock him out!
Prince is one of the most awesome things that happened to boxing. WHAT a legend he would be if had the desire to keep training and getting better, beat Barrera in the rematch and, then win some more belts!
Would have been next to impossible. The division was really heating up at the time, and Naz' love for the game had left him. I guess it's really hard to instil discipline and longevity in a man of his ego.
