Well, Lara is the WBA interim champ. That means he's supposed to get a shot at the WBA within a year. Mayweather and Alvarez are fighting for the WBA title.

 

if angulo, with his wide, slow as molasses punches, can find laras chin, floyd, canelo and trout would tatoo the hell out of him.

I would still like to see Lara vs Canelo. I favor canelo but he wouldn't be able to put out the workrate and pressure like Angulo did to Lara. It would be at a much slower pace. Lara doesn't seem to have enough power to hurt canelo, but has the boxing ability to make it interesting.

 

Lara is a different guy against pressure fighters. Canel isn't a true pressure fighter, and certainly can't outbox Lara. I think the fight would be very interesting.

 

I still want to see canelo destroy him though. It's one of those fights that has to happen.

 

stylistically i think he would fair better vs those 2. He struggles on the inside.

 

Lara beats Canelo and Trout, is not threat to Mayweather. Lara just faced an Angulo that looked better than ever. Lara beats trout an Canelo count on it.

 

Also stop acting like Canelo is some super elite, look at his resume ffs, 1 legit 154 lber on there. Lara has better record with better names.

 

Lmao @ look better then ever. Angulo clearly isn't the same fighter thanks to not only Kirkland destroy him but being in prison really affect him. Canelo is faster and is a better defender then angulo. The way lara fights, if canelo doesn't try to box and just keep the pressure on lara, lara will be ko cause I guess you forget canelo is a great body puncher and canelo is better in throwing combination then angulo.

 

If canelo beats mayweather then his last 2 wins over trout and mayweather will be better then any of lara resumes of fighters he won.
