    Honestly? No. Trout is a compliment to a great resume not a focal point. He is a legit opponent, but only would make sense on someone with a deeper resume. Molina or Lara could say "I beat Trout too." and it would mean something. Not Alvarez. Alvarez just doesn't have enough meaningful fights at weight.

    Who has Trout beaten? Cotto? Cotto is too small for the division for the style he chooses. Other than that who? Delvin Rodriguez? Trout is feather fisted and lucked into that belt. Now that he is going to be in the lion's den with guys like Smith, Lara, Molina, Martirosyan, Charlo's, etc... you will see exactly who Trout is.

    Laras punchingpower is great, Angulo took some real Heavy punches and his face is telling the truth about Lara. Lara proved he could get up from two knockdowns.

    Sometimes guys show something different when they change trainers.

    Angulo was cutting off the ring beautifully. He was damn near jogging backwards at times to keep Lara from establishing the center of the ring. He was using pursuit angles insanely well.

    Angulo at his best NEVER did that. Guys like Rios should take note.

    Lara was smashing that face, Angulo was a LHW at the time of the fight in a shape that we haven't see him in years, the ring was very small so that will favor a slow and come forward kind of fighter, not a boxer like Lara, he came back from two vicious knockdowns from a known big puncher, punches he never saw and still won the rest of the round and the next one, I'll tell you that GBP/WBC were praying that all those advantages that Angulo had in that fight would payoff, it didn't work, canelo have to face the Cuban now or move out of the way, Canelo is a hyped job that his best "win" was against a feather fisted Trout and still didn't impress anyone, if you sure Canelo will beat Lara just put the money where your mouth is and lets bet for real, by the way Angulo would had kill ginger last saturday, that is why they avoid him when he was the #1 contender...

    Fast = Good? :huh

    You don't have to have fast feet to have employ good footwork idiot. Closing escape routes and using pursuit angles has NOTHING to do with speed. You use this footwork exactly because you are a plodding caveman and you don't want the fleet footed Boxer to escape.

    I swear you guys are IDIOTS. Why are you even on a Boxing website? :lol:
