I had no doubt that Valero would get the victory and do it impressive fashion. I think that Valero's power can take him to light welterweight if not welterweight. He showed an unorthodox style, good boxing ability, fast hands, and power.

I heard the comparison the commentators made between Valero and Pacquiao ... I think that at this point of his career, Valero is the better technical boxer, but Pacquiao shows more patience. Right now Pacquiao is the better fighter but the I feel the lightweight version of Valero is better than the Pacquiao version. It's weird because Valero has the belt that Pacquiao vacated to fight DLH.

Valero would get better, I think that his speed and agility will carry him through some tough fights. I would wish for him to hook up with a more technically sound trainer.

Definitely emerging into the top p4p ranks.

The lightweight version of Pacquiao ... he didn't start to show great improvement until he whoop on the human punching bag version of DLH.

I think Valero-Pacquiao is going to be down the line. It would be one helluva fight too.

I think Valero has to fight one of the other champs or a "A "fighter. DeMarco is a C+ fighter. I really not impress with him just yet. Pac would have been too fast for him at 135. Now that the US has seen him, maybe a good quality fighter will test him.

The best time to have made a Valero/Pacquiao matchup was in early 2007, but now it just seems like a mismatch. Valero is something special though, he looks like he can be a strong champion at 140 and 147 down the line.
