Spot on.:good I still think there are men that can beat him. But for some reason when they get the chance they dont fight as hard as they had before. I mean Marquez way to beat PBF was like he fought against Pac. Counter. Which he never did. PBF never throw many so Marquez had to be the first to punch. Counter is how you beat speed and for some reason Marquez's best tool was not used because PBF's game plan was to make JMM throw first. Amazing he took away JMM's strength. But didnt he fight scared. Like he was the smaller man like you said. I just dont get PBF is he worried about that 0 in his record or what.
i hope those fans who insisted that this was a competitive fight review or reassess their senses. i mean, this was the first time i saw a fight wherein a judge scored 120-107 or something. what were the scores again. and pbf fans, even after pbf came at 146 still had the temerity to insist that this was a true catchweight fight.
The fans have been losing for quite a while with all the politics involved. After Cotto/Pacquiao, Mayweather will be like I want to fight Cotto, no I want to fight Pacquiao, no I want to fight Mosley instead. Back and fourth negotiations (or even possible setbacks like injuries) until they get an agreement to fight 6 months later. Marquez/Mayweather should of happened in July, and we probably would see Mosley/Mayweather in December.
That wasnt a Catchweight fight. After the fighters put fluids back into there bodies. I would say JMM would have been at were a Normal Junior Welter was. And PBF would have been at were a Junior Middle would weigh. He looked that much bigger.
No :good But i bet he if Pacman blows away Cotto or if Cotto blows away Pac. I bet No **** he will fight the damaged loser of there fight. Ill put money on that ****.
i have been saying that all along man. pbf is 32, physically mature and hence, i will not expect him to lose weight easily. but retain or gain weight easily. :yep:hey:rofl i am just laughing at pbf fans like nallege who insist that this is a true catchweight fight and pac cotto is a bitchmove. second, eze was insisting that pbf can go down to 140 if he wants to. heck, he can't even hit 144. ****wit. i just feel sad for jmm in a way. he had to go to that extreme to secure a financial windfall. i thought that mayweather could have easily won it, even through KO. and pbf was really disrespectful of jmm during the fight. no respect for his elders. :rofl
Why do u think everyone hates mayweather? He hypes up big mismatches like this, calls them "PPV Extravaganzas" and then gives us a boring fight. He's a ****ing con artist. He's either gotta start taking actual fights or no ones ever gonna give him respect.
Maybe you should go watch UFC or something. I prefer to see skills in the ring. Whatd you expect? Mayweather atleast earned the right to get whatever advantages he wants. Unlike some people we know(dlh), who started out from the beginning getting everything his way. They need to make mosley vs mayweather. I dont wanna see mayweather vs pac. Pac is a smaller guy then both those guys and mayweather or mosley arent gonna get the credit they deserve if they beat a pac. Mayweather mosley fight and the winner fights cotto pac. Id pay 100$ pay per view to see that fight.
another thing i noticed.....wtf were the judges watching that even gave marquez a round. I thought somebody spiked my drink when i heard 118-110. No mexican in the world even had him winning 1 round.
Marquez actually was countering Mayweather mid and late rounds.......but as Marquez said afterward, Mayweather's speed and size was a big factor.....and anytime it got to where there was an actual exchange of shots, Mayweather predictably got the hell out. Marquez' words, I tried attacking with both power and then speed, but weight was an issue. He was too fast and too strong. Marquez went on to say he thought had he given his body a chance to get acclamated to the weight with a few tuneups, he'd have been much more competitive. Unfortunately we well know that at 36 years of age, JMM did'nt and does'nt have that luxury.
Everyone knows he has the skills. Its just that he tells you he is going to beat a guy up yet plays defense all night. For me after every PBF fight you feel like you need to see the real PBF. He never and i mean never leaves you WANTING MORE. Which i feel for his true fans. Name any of his fights that got you out of your seat.
