    Chad Dawson had until yesturday July 7th to send the signed contract allowing him over a million dollars to fight his MANDATORY opponent Adrian Diaconu in Romania. Guess what, he did'nt sign it. I guess he was not interested to travel to Romania to face Diaconu, so much that he has to drop his belt and hand it over to Diaconu.

    Many guys here were saying that Dawson is the best at LHW and that he feared no man. Many also could'nt admit that Dawson was DUCKING his mandatory, mainly because Diaconu is unknown and the money was not good enough.......

    Well, now if Mr Soliman, head of WBC, applies the rules, Dawson is no longer a belt holder. To me Dawson is a

    not to face his mandatory and should run after another belt or more money. ( how much does he thinks he's worth for a fight, more than a million )


    Now, let's see how Diaconu will do as a CHAMP and maybe one day he will be worthy enough for his MAJESTY. Until then, Dawson remains a major overrated boxer that had all the chances in the world to prove himself, but, decided to take the wrong path. Not that the guy is not a great boxer but a small MAN.

    I don't blame Dawson one bit for going to Romania. Hell some say Henry was robbed and deserved the decision over there. Why couldn't the Shark agree to fight in Cananda?

    You don't know anything about him as a man. Have you ever met him? He's a real nice guy in person, and took the time to talk with my dad and I when he could have easily brushed us off to be with his family. If you're talking about Dawson, leave his personality alone if you don't personally know him.

    And by the way, Diaconu pulled out in September. Does that make him a *****, and a small MAN?

    Just heard Christian Ganescu on the radio, head of Gancor, the people who won the purse bid for the fight. Dawson had till midnight last night to return the signed contract to him.

    Sounds like an American typo - if we ain't win overseas we are robbed...stop crying and prove youreself to be the best regardless of the country you are fighting in...in times of Ali this wouldn't had happened...

    Not that he didn't want the fight, but trainning injuries happend....


    And no, I don't know Dawson personnally and my comment is only adressed to Dawson, the World Champion Boxer.

    Well that kinda sucks that Dawson won't fight, but nice to see Adrian wear gold. :p

    I wish this fight would have pulled through tho, that ****ing sucks.

    so i guess Adrian will be fighting Johnson next? Being he's number 2.

    The fight should have been in Cananda period. It's still home turf for the Shark since he lives there. The Shark's team knew all along that Dawson would never agree to go to Romania it's a ***** move by his team IMO in order to pick up a belt.

    You know for a fact the fight would be a sell out in MTL which is a very hot boxing scence right now. Making the fight in Romania was out of the question which is why they chose to hold it there. They knew team Dawson would never go there, but he would have fought in MTL in a heartbeat.
