Martinez wins by UD. I was worried the judges would screw him but he got the fight and deserved it.

This is Mundines BIG chance. The first title defence is a non-mandatory against the softest opponent... Mandy is the softest around...

That was a good fight for Martinez. The thing I liked about Martinez was his stance - he was largely positioned at this strange angle so that Pav couldn't land that right. A good win over a solid champ. Hope Pavlik can get the ball rollin again soon.

I think Martinez will go forWilliams. He doesn't seem like a man who doesn't like tough fights; also, he would batter Mundine IMO

On what I saw today I know Arum would be kicking himself that he picked Martinez. :rofl:lol::rofl:lol:

For the record choc would be very good against both guys...

Pav is so robotic in his movement and punches....FFS :patschwe all know any mover is going to give him hell....one wonud think he saw the video of PW V Martinez

Martinez workes best against a plodder move forward robotic puncher (pav)

Choc moves better than both guys

Ash I think Mundine would give Pavlik alot of problems but I honestly think he canno handle a southpaw to save his life. I think Sergio would confuse Mundine with his speed and very awkward southpaw movements. Mundine has a better chance of beating Pavlik or Sturm then Martinez IMO.

Correct, his evasiveness around the big names is quite remarkable.

:deal Spot on, mundine has the edge in terms of defence on martinez as well as movement.
However the way martinez went after pavlik in the last 3 rounds was pretty special although I don't think choc would just stand there like pavlik.
