The 11th round though? Like I said, I have to watch it again because I was in and out a bit, but if I recall correctly Adamek clearly won that round.

Adamek made it closer than it had to be. That's for sure. He needed to let his hands go alot more.

I said the same thing all along, I say that the dude isnt good (Cunningham) and you say that Im got some kind of motives. It has nothing to do with Euro USA, it has to do with crappy and non-crappy fighters. Cunningham is a crappy fighter, he is sloppy and throws shoulder punches, Adamek is strong but as we saw in his fight with Dawson he is over his head with elite fighters.

I think that he got hurt to the body in the 9th round and pretty much did nothing from that point.

Throughout the fight Adamek was allowing Cunningham to get off first. Fortunately, Adamek is a better fighter, more durable, and hits harder, so he was able to win clearly regardless.

Man, I'm just glad its over. 3 knock downs by Adamek has to say alot, but he did eat some serious leather from Cunn.

Great fight! And major congrats to Adamek. That man set his goals & accomplished them with hard work, heart & determination.

That was my Xmas present this year.:D

    :happy:happy:happy

BTW, the jerk judge that scored it 114-112 for Cunn should be investigated or something. Shot, maybe???

    :good

    You gonna do it:hey

dont get mad because you know Im telling the truth, I said the very same things before fight....Why do you think that American fans wasnt hyping Cunningham??? Maybe because we did think that he was very good??? I dont know why that is so hard for you guys to understand, every fighter that wins a belt isnt a champion, some are just holding the belt. cunningham was just holding the belt

That was because he wasnt worried about what was coming back at him, but he got broke down. Cunningham was a stronger fighter then Adamek but not a big puncher. He even had Adamek backing up in the late rounds, but just couldnt hurt him, I think had he gone to the body more he would have really been able to close the fight, maybe even score a knockdown.

I think in a rematch both guys would adjust abit, I think that Adamek wouldnt just walk to him in the second fight and i think that Cunningham would go more to the body, after they watch the tape, Cunningham and his people will be kicking themselves for that.

Great fight for both guys. Adamek is a beast. Steve finally deserves his respect as a warrior, also. Rematch!

Great fight from both men. Adamek deserved it. No other cruiser fight I wanna see right now except an immediate rematch.

I don't follow you at all. Cunningham seriously hurt Adamek in the 2nd round. Adamek is a gutsy guy, but he was certainly realistically concerned about what was coming back at him. Walking to Cunningham is what Adamek needed to do more of. This contest was about who got off first. Period. Cunningham was at Adamek's mercy whenever Adamek initiated the exchanges. If they do it again the only adjustment Adamek has to make is to throw more punches. The chances of a stoppage win are better than good if he does. There's not alot Cunningham can do, except hope that Adamek let's him get away with more **** than he did the first time.

The commentators were doing the SAME thing. I thought the judge that had it 116-110 was right on the money.:yep
