Would not surprise me, someone as fat as Toney could fall over just from walking down the street let alone fighting professionally.

James can't be in the best of health these days. I feel bad for him, he was a hell of a fighter back in his prime.

Well maybe because he can still beat majority of active heavyweights.

He passes his medicals so of course he get license to fight

Get real. 113kg aint that much. Not optimal weight but its not like guy with his muscles is going to die because of it

Dude hes 5.10, i would be overweight at 250lb and i am 6.4.

Also on your previous statement when has he actually last beat a heavyweight of note?
The Lebedev fight showed he should no longer be fighting he is absolutely shot and he can barely be understood when hes talking.

Since you are supposedly a Toney fan you should be praying for him to retire.
Few more years of getting his ass beat and he wont even be able to dress himself.

Im 5.11 and I fought in 110kg last time I had a match. Not optimal weight but it isnt like one cant perform in that weight. You made it sound like guy in that weight cant do athletic

Well Fress Oquendo is last top-15 guy he has beaten but my point is that there are far worse boxers that get license. Im sure he could beat more that 95% of active heavyweights in the division.

As long as guy can pass medical its their right to fight if they want to

Toney has zero respect for todays heavies. He thinks he could roll out of bed smoke a cigar and go to the buffet to be ready for this weekends fight . . . he may not be wrong:D

Toney is still a top 25 heayvweight and he will school Browne tonight. He isn't in the best shape (who would expect that?) but he still has the skills and he will destroy the overhyped porn star Big Daddy tonight!

Unless you are a bulked as hell bodybuilder 110kg is pretty damn fat at 5.11.

I am in the gym 5 days a week and even though im in good shape i could still be leaner at 102kg and im a good bit taller.

Oquendo was 5 years ago, since then he lost every single round vs a very mediocre Lebedev and even if that was because he was drained it showed he has no business fighting anymore.

The only justifiable reason for Toney to still be fighting is that at this stage he probably sustained so much brain damage it doesn't really matter anymore.

He should have retired after the 2nd Peter fight where he was comprehensively outboxed vs a caveman.

    There is no mystery here.

Toney took the fight on 6-7 week notice. He entered the camp probably
around 265, then lost aound 20 pounds. A younger Toney would have come in at 230 pounds with the same amount of training, but when you are in your mid-40s you do not lose weight that easily anymore.

Let's remember Toney's career was completely dead at this point. I am confident he would come in lighter in his next bouts against better opposition.

I still believe a 245 pound Toney will handle himself well tomorow, however it will be difficullt to win a decision in Australia tomorrow at around 245 . I certainly do not believe Toney has a chance of winning by KO

6 - 7 weeks is a pretty normal training camp for a lot of fighters.
