No but Joe picked against Ali a few times. Joe picked Liston over Patterson when many other fighters like Braddock and Marciano picked Floyd.
Yeah Ali was great. Joe didn't like the way he presented himself and he backed Liston with the hurt shoulder. What I love is something no one mentions. After Ali beats Liston he starts shouting "I AM THE GREATEST" about 1 foot away from Joe Louis. I mean, you think he'd have a little respect . Ali is always entertaining though.
