Thats right, none. He hasnt beaten one Hall of Fame fighter. And if thats the case, then he should have been tearing through the competition like a young Tyson or at least putting away the guys he should like Lewis. He and his brother are both good fighters but they are not great by any means.

This is going to be a technicality, but Juan Carlos Gomez will be in the hall of fame because of his ten crusierweight title defenses.

POST SCRIPT: I am really rooting for Herbie Hide to make good with a cruiserweight belt-what a great story that would be. That would get Herbie in.

Well, you aren't going to find any active fighters in the Hall of Fame so its guess work.

He beat two men who have wins over future Hall of Fame fighters..Peter beat Toney and Sanders beat Wlad. Close enough.

Shannon Briggs might be a stretch (if he beats him)

Vitali is still looking to fight SNV and I can guarantee he will be in there just due to his size and the whole 46-0 thing.

Has there ever been an active fighter in the HOF? ..and isn't there an X amount of time that they have to be retired before even being considered?

^Yeah it is. The OP said he hasn't beaten a HOF'er. I'm wondering how this statement is relevant in any way...yet. Not that anyone he's faced will ever be considered for the HOF anyway...:nut

vitali won the event against a hall of famer, which is WAY better than winning the actual fight (or not getting knocked out)
