Sporting greatness is as much about longevity and endurance as anything else and Tyson (a HW) imploded in his 20s lol.. once he started losing he could never really turn it around therefore he lacked mental toughness too.. for all of his power, aura and athleticism people rarely acknowledge the other areas he lacked in.. he was a beast undoubtedly, a precocious talent & a phenomenal athlete but he does get a bit overrated by some who just make excuses for him instead of putting his full career in the spotlight.. I mean the guy had literal meltdowns in the ring, and some of the worst excuses in post performance interviews ever LOL… I broke my back was one of the best .. even some of his wins were pretty poor… I.E Botha was beating him on the cards.. he's a great HW who set the sport alight but I don't rank him alongside Marciano, Ali, Lewis etc..
Bowe and Moorer were only lineal because they beat Evander. Foreman and Holmes were ancient. And Evander did not deserve a draw in the first Lewis fight. It was a loss by all accounts except.... The only true lineal win there where he took the title without having lost it first is the Douglas fight.
