Either Dirrell vs. Groves is a good fight

Most top ten are more skilled then Froch. Groves out speeding, out boxing Froch in both fights. But then Froch pulled a Froch. And won.

As for punching power, Froch is above Anthony. Even Pascal is saying Froch best asset is his power which is elite. type of power.

Groves is a really good boxer, really athletic, who knocked down the granit chin (Froch) and out boxed him for most of the round he fought against Froch. Groves is leggit. And he his in most aspect (except for his chin) better than A. Dirrell.

That fight, by the way, would be great! I hope Dirrel doesn't duck Groves if the fight is in England (if Groves win the bids). He then, without a title, might become like is brother with no fight and no nothing.

Poor Anthony. Why would Froch bother going to the US to fight a no-name like Anthony Dirrell? Really - would this be the 'big Vegas fight' he was looking at before retirement?

Seriously, Anthony's a pretty decent boxer but he's delusional if he thinks that beating Bika (and that's about the only thing he's achieved of even passing notice) gives him the prestige to call the shots for a Froch fight.

Hell, I'm far from convinced Tony Dirrell would even beat 'bum' Groves (or DeGale for that matter). If he gets past Groves and gets another name or two on his resume a Froch fight may become more viable, but likely as not Carl we be retiring in the next year or two anyway so I'm guessing Tony's gonna be s#it outta luck.

Groves is a tough matchup for this Dirrell. Both are shaky but Groves has much more power.

gotta love these halfwits who are so desparate to deride froch they call him a stay at home fighter. 80k at wembley, sunshine, fighting in front of a few of dirrell's friends and family in a community hall ain't gonna cut it.

union flag, by the way. it's only the union jack (still got blue in it?) on a ship.

Actually.......Isnt Tony Dirrel with Al Haymon????

If so......maybe Haymon could generate the type fo revenue to call Carl over here. Beating Dirrel would afterall, make him Undisputed SMW Champion of the World.

Nice little title to add to his already HOF/ATG legacy before he hangs em up:think:think:think

dunno, chi, paying off your fighters to drop their belts doesn't strike me as the most sustainable of business models!

Does anyone else think that Groves should not be 1 fight away from another title shot. He's a popular kid and a decent boxer. Who obviously can generate numbers but surely there's other boxers who should get a title fight first.

define "title shot", because there are a lot of belts out there
