Because nobody at 205 or below stands a chance other than Machida.

Maybe Shogun does too though if he gets back to being his old dynamic self again?

I have absolutely zero interest in Anderson fightign at 185 apart from a rematch with Hendo and that could be done at 205.

I bet Dana freezes him out of the 205 title shot picture though.

I really wnat Anderson to fight for the title so part of me is hoping that Shogun defeats Machida.

It's the other way around. DW would love them to fight, but Silva and Machida would never willingly do it because they're friends and teammates. Sooner or later, the UFC is going to put its foot down on the issue of teammates refusing to fight each other, and it's going to be pretty interesting to see how it plays out.

I don't think deserves is the right word, but nobody could argue with such a match being made.

I imagine Sculracuntings would call Dana a **** because of Anderson's lack of credentials at 205.

hehe, true but only prob is Machida and A Silva won't fight each other, Scur actually said Silva would prob win in the first so I have to give him that. Usually he is wrong almost every time.

Even if this fight was forced to happen, this would make the Cote/Silva, Leitas/Silva fights very exciting in comparison.

Id rather see a young challenger or a serious contender want to dethrone Silva at 185. It would be a freaking challenge though and I think at this point, people want to be the first to defeat Silva in the Octagon. It would be huge.

I agree. After the re-match with Henderson, bring on Machida.:rasta

Yeah Dana is a **** because he gave Lesnar a shot at title after only 4 fights, 1 of which he lost to frank mir of all people. still pisses me off.

This is the ONLY fight at 205 that makes sense.

Id like to see the Belfort, Maia & Hendo matches at 185, dont think thats too shabby if we dont get to see the Machida/Shogun LHW Title fight for Anderson

On thing that SHOULD be clear after this weekend and was clear to me even before this past weekend is that Anderson vs GSP WOULD NOT be competitive and GSP would get his ass handed to him worse then he handed BJ's ass to him.

I can see a nasty collision between Andersons knees & GSP's face if Georges shoots for a take down. And getting Anderson down would be GSP's only chance, Silva is a bridge to far imo
